After the 20th "hola Max" of the day, and it was only 10am, Max was ready for the CP alberca!!

Buenos hot tardes!!

Busy busy day for us!! Currently boiling in the casa and Marcos is busy installing a new floor drain grate for us. The grate was $33 pesos at Casa Pepe and the obra de mano will probably be $100 pesos and Marcos will be thrilled with the extra $$.

Earlier in the day, we (ok...Bex) interviewed a university student who teaches español to one of Max's amigas. Still working out the deets, but she is available in the afternoons and charges $50 pesos/hora.

Nice señorita named Laura, pronounced la-ow-rah, and we are thinking she could spend a few hours with Max, maybe twice a week. All this to make it easier for Max to chat with his amigos when they are all together.

He knows lots of words en español, but does not talk in Spanish much, but with Laura, he would have to. Stay tuned.

As for the rest of our busy día...after a good bed time with his Poppa (20 minutos I think), Max slept in his cuna the complete noche and other then some heavy dreams, there was only one wake up and the final wake up was at 6am. Score!!

Usual morning for the boys...videos, tranquilo time, huge desayunos and then out for a bici tour. The original plan was to head to the campo, but we decided to pick up the baño grate instead. But we had enough time to grab a rollo canela at the panificadora and we sat in the sombra of the zocalo with Max eating all the pasas and Bubba chowing down on the pan y goo!! Score!!

Home for our swim and then onto the leche, libros and 70 minuto siesta.

Comida for all, the interview with Laura and then I was off to el gimnasio and the familia jumped into the CP alberca.

Currently 435pm and the familia is on a centro prowl...time to burn some energia at the mall by bouncing on the trampolina in the afore-mentioned heat. Did I mention that the mall does not use it's a/c? Yikes. But after the bouncing, the cool down pit stop is the Oxxo located in the mall. Score!!

Ok, onto some fotos and then it will be time to load the papas frances into the horno!!

Pre-tour poses from the 3rd floor landing.

Max confirming he did not forget his casco.

Bubba dropped off the basura and gelled up his manos before quickly grabbing his camera. ¿Por que? Porque Max was smiling!!

So here they come...a handful of smiling Max fotos.

So many of you have sent me requests, so here it is...a foto of Casa Pepe.

Max LOVES to prowl around inside and when I saw this, I told Max to "look at that hombre". Max looked, put on a concerned face and said "Poppppppaaaaaa", which means he was timido.

We went over together, mano en mano, and I showed Max this was just a plastic hombre.

Off to the zocalo where Max zoomed around the kiosko.

One of the many trabajadores de Fonatur who stop to wave hola to Max.

The look on Max's face says it all...sheeesh, another hola hola?

Off to the alberca where Max show how excited he really is!! Oh Max.

Due to yesterday's averted disaster, Max and I talked about jumping INTO the alberca and not to the side. We even lined up near the middle of the alberca and then Bubba lined up with his camera...ready for the jump in foto.

And then Max sat on his bum, plopped his feet in and slid in. Huh?

Oh Max.

And just as he got into the alberca, Marcos walked by and offered a choque to the lil'man.

And Max replied "I am swimming" and left Marcos hanging. Oh Max!!

Ok...time to turn the fries. You know how this works...I will finish this off after tina time!!

Hasta pronto!!

Buenos noches. A fine end to the day!! A little breeze has really helped cool things down to a tolerable level, especially during the post cena bici tour. And tonight we did make it to the campo!!

Good dinner...the steaks were a rib steak, not rib eye, and were tough. Hit and miss when it comes to finding and buying good carne down here.

Clean up and then the bici tour and it ended differently then any other. We were half  way home and Max said his legs were sore and wanted to walk. We walked and his legs were still sore, so Poppa carried him home.

I have NEVER, nunca, seen the lil'man too tired to ride his bici...but having his head on my shoulders and his arms wrapped around my neck...priceless!!

A little leg massage from his madre and I am sure he will be a-ok mañana...just in time to run the aisles of Soriana!!

Time for the meditation musica and I will go in to close the show in 15. Buen suerte Poppa!!

That's all for today!! Hasta mañana.

Marco, Bexico y Max
