Well hellllllooooo darings!!

Buenos tardes!! Nice and sunny here in Huatulco. I read that Vancouver might be having a heat wave this weekend?

Would be as hot as we are experiencing?

Only 32,0 feeling like 43,0!!

A good day here in Huatulco and happy to report that Max has been talking up a storm in the casa and on the road, and a little bit more when he is amongst "strangers". Silverio, at the gate, is blown away at how much Max is talking, because every morning when we head out, after Silverio says hola, Max tells him what the agenda for the morning is.

My job? Translate it to Silverio!!

Quote of the day from the lil'man? "I go poo on the toilet soon". Ja ja ja. Every morning we ask if he is ready to stop using panales and I have been telling him that the time is coming soon. Stay tuned...if you are into that kind of info!!

The día? A great bed time...score!! Asleep in 25 minutos and in the cuna. A few wake ups during the noche...the lil'man LOVES the manos!!

Then came the oh oh...wet cuna at 525am. Panale pit stop and some man snugs until 6am and then the lil'man was awake. The día starts!!

Cuna change and then it was time for leche y videos. Up and at'em for 710am and onto the runtinas of tranquilo time and then the huge desayunos.

We have had my share of running after Max on the bici, so today was a prowl day and we made it around centro in good time. Hot...but good time.

The only excitement came when we were stopped by an amigo who works in a tienda de ropa, clothes store. He had a new shipment of playeras in, and needed me to translate them for him.

Today it was "Save the Whales" and "Buzz Lightyear...Space Ranger". It took some time, but he got it!!

Home for the swim and we found Marcos had some garden mangueras in the pool, adding some fresh water. Garden hoses in the pool...fun time for Max!!

Good swim and then madre came down to help her boys get organized and then upstairs for the leche y libros.

A good 90 minuto siesta and then Max y madre went into pan de plátano baking mode...they turned out yummy!!

And after that, they loaded up the camioneta verde and headed out to playa Entrega. Currently 430pm and they will be home in less then an hour for leche and then la cena at 530pm.

Post siesta I was out the door to el gimnasio...it was hot. Pit stop to drop off a disposable underwater camera at Foto Conejos to developed. I saw a wall of graduation fotos and had to ask how old the pregnant girls in the fotos were. Yikes...a grade 10 grad foto and 8 months along.

Any who...home to clean up and type away on the blog update.

Onto the fotos.

Admiring his fans, the lil'man.

Scratch the bug bite.

Adjust the lentes.

And we are ready to go on the prowl.

Pit stop in the banco to borrow some of their air con.

The peek a boo doorway looks waaaay better with the lil'man in it.

Nice wheels.

And it looks better now!!

Yamaha pit stop.

Onto the CP alberca.

A few fotos taken by madre. Max y Poppa have just resurfaced after going all the way to the bottom...sin gafas.

Someone has dropped the fork back into the agua...o Max!!

Poppa grabs it and tickles the lil'man at the same time!!

From ayer at playa Mojon...the olas were not that large, but they had a good force behind them.

And as you can see, they are not that far off shore.

And we are back to 2.3 rings showing...and lots of rock.

And some incoming olas as well.

I found the familia high and dry.

Wait a minute...more besos??

The turkey buzzards saw me coming.

I am headed back to look at where I got my leg jammed, and the birds must think I might not make it back and could be their dinner!! Ja ja ja

In this state. it doesn't look so dangerous. Add a 4 foot wall of water coming at you.

The olas coming in here are strong enough to move concreto and I was swept into this mess and then finally came to a stop when I got stuck.

Ok...off to cook la cena. I will finish this off esta noche, post tina time.

Hasta pronto.

Oh oh...madre is not feeling well. Argh...she has been ill for 4 days and was on the mend with today being an almost normal día. She got to playa Entrega and had a bout of fatigue and pushed her way through the afternoon with the lil'man.

She limped the camioneta home and asked Silverio to come and get me. Oh that sent up a red flare!! Turned off the estufa and ran to the truck to find madre hanging on and Max with leche on his face, all concerned about his madre.

She ate some dinner and had a siesta on the couch and meanwhile the boys ate their cena in the cocina, standing on the banco, stool, just like we do during desayunnos!!

Clean up and we tip toed out the door, letting madre sleep as we hit the road for our post-cena bici tour.

First stop was Foto Conejo and we picked up the fotos. Not bad...friggin expensive but there are some good shots. Now we will try to figure out how we can share them with you!! Might need to buy another digital underwater camera...stay tuned.

We rolled into the zocalo and Max wheeled around while I showed some peeps the fotos of Max under water. Jaws literally dropped when they saw the fotos, as they all know Max tiene only 2 años 8 meses.

Home for tina time and happy to see Bex up...if only slightly. Our doctor is out of town so after Max is asleep, we will formulate plan #2!!

Currently 745pm and I have to take over in a few minutes.

Misc

Spotted ONLINE...I cannot believe we have missed the first one!!

Ok, have a great viernes y hasta mañana.

Marco, Bexico y Max
