And at 10am....

Yup, that is the look of the lil'man after a carretilla prowl through centro in 30,0 but feeling like 41,0 grado heat!!

And now that the afternoon is almost over, I am glad to report we are only up 1,0 grado...32,0 feeling like 44,0!! Yikes.

Buenos tardes!!

What a wacky bed time last night, but Bex knew why straight away. Max had a long siesta and did not wake up until almost 215pm. Normally he is up by 1-115pm and still takes over an hour to fall asleep and be asleep by 830pm.

Anoche, last night? Yikes. After libros y leche, Bex y Max had their 15 minutos of tranquilo time and meditation musica.

Bubba came in and an hour later, after some holding, a little rocking and LOTS of manos, I left to get the co-pilot back in there. Of course I was frustrated but I talked to the lil'man in a calm voice and got his madre.

When she came out 15-20 minutos later, she immediately put a sonrisa on my face when she repeated to me what Max had told her. "I am so sad...Poppa held my manos for an hour and I cannot sleep".

Duh...it was the long and late siesta and he just was not ready for sleep, even after laying in his cuna for 40 minutos with his noche goggles on!!

Bex had night duty and there was a middle of the night request for Super Snugs and when that was declined, there were some middle of the night tears.

But back asleep and awake at 545am and the lil'manos came and woke his Poppa up at 645am.

Onto our rutinas and after making a "huge mess" as Max would call it, he cleaned up his juguetes, toys, and then onto the huge desayunos. It was hot, as you can see, so we planned on 40 mintuos around centro and then into the alberca.

A good prowl with the wheelbarrow...pit stop for whole wheat tortillas (muy raro for the tortillas to be harina, let alone whole wheat) as well as some huevos, and then a super dip in the pool.

Upstairs for leche y libros and Max dropped his bottle of leche, breaking the lid. We are down to one lid left and then it will be drinking leche "like a big boy" and we can already see this will be a challenge.

He loves his leche, but only in a bottle. Oh Max.

Poppa had siesta duty and after a few verses of Gilligan's and a quick rock, he was lights out!! I did some web browsing and then decided I could not pass up the opportunity for some manos y shut eye as well.

Hola hola to a 105pm wake up!! Bex took over Max watch and off they went into the Palacio for some more Lego time.

I had lunch and then off to a friggin hot gimnasio before coming home and joining the familia for a dip in the CP alberca. I left them to head upstairs for the clean up etc and around 4pm they followed and are now out and about centro, jumping on the trampolina in the mall I think. In 454,0 grado heat as well...yikes.

505pm and they will be home for the pollo muslo in 25 minutos, so onto the fotos.

The wheelbarrow with the bolsa de basura in it do not change, but the lil'man's expressions do!!

See crates...will stop for foto.

Spotting some letras on a camion, Max pit stops to spell out D-O-D-G-E.

We had pit stopped at Simi and they gave Max a globo. When we came into the zocalo, a lil'niña approached us and when I said hola, she wandered back to her madre and then started crying.

Max and I discussed the crying niña and we decided it would be nice to give her the globo to cheer her up. After a few "it's mine", Max agreed and we walked together and gave the balloon away.

Here is the niña after doing a lap of the kiosko, and I overheard her madre telling someone on the phone that we had given her daughter the balloon. Good will ambassadors!!

We almost had 15 huevos revueltos, scrambled eggs, when someone thought they should take a sit down on the carretilla pit stop!!

Action pose!!

Injury update? Three out of the four biggest cuts and scrapes are doing well and the big rash/scrape looks like it will need another week or so. While at the gym, I really felt the tight leg muscles and figure another day or so for them.

Ok...pollo muslo on the go and time for the arroz, pollo, arroz, pasta arroz!!

I will finish this off esta noche. Hasta pronto!!

Buenos noches. We are wrapping up the día after eating some oh so yummy pollo y arroz para la cena. We had clean up and our much enjoyed bici tour and now bed time is under way. Max was awake at 545am and only had a 90 minuto siesta that ended at 1pm...so fingers are crossed that he is asleep by 815-830pm. Stay tuned!!

Misc...the earthquake you might hear about was close to us, but we did not feel it. All good here!!

Ok...hasta mañana.

Marco, Bexico y Max
