Don’t slay the messenger/blogger….no fotos today.

A very different day then normal…MUY tranquilo!! No morning walk with Max, I did not hit the pool with Max…and no el gimnasio!! Huh?

It was a day to catch up on sleep and rest. I have been pooped and run down for a few days, so I bit the bullet and took a TD…tranquilo día.

We were up at 7am and started the usual rutina. But Max was not in an eating mood this morning…no sé por que. Good news is that he ate half of his desayunos before his nap and the otra half later. No waste!!

By the time the attempt at feeding was done, it was nap time and he had himself a chorty CN.

Due to a tank up at 7am, he did not need to wake up madre, who had worked late on her Australian based project.

So off we went to Che with a pit stop at Fonatur to rid ourselves of the recyclables and then a pit stop at Nissan where the gang gathered around to say hola y que tal to Max.

Carlos wants to hit Istmos…might be a week this sábado..stay tuned.

Che was Che, no big scores but we are loaded up for the next few days. The big sorpresa…surprise? A little present from the lil’pooper!! On me and the sling!! Lol

He is the sensitive type, bound to be a lady killer later in life, so I told him a little poop is bound to happen…right madre? We headed home, took only the lil’hombre and the meats upstairs and had to greet a freshly awoken madre…with the dirty panale!! Ja ja ja

He was a-ok and Bex took over, leche y nap time.

I put the groceries away and hit the sack. Next thing you know, 230pm has rolled around and it is too late for el gimnasio. No crisis, I have had a sore shoulder for a few weeks, so a day off is good for me.

I was asleep and Max had pool time with madre. Best to go out at mid day as the sun was out and it would be warmer then later on when the nube has rolled in.

Sounds like they had a great time, meeting a familia from France and their 18 month old hija…who Max immediately had a crush on!! I guess this niña had the much dreaded water wings on…and was having a fun time. So….looks like Max will be winged up in the near future.

At 7.5 meses, he is bigger and stronger than the lil’French weakling (kidding), but not sure his brain is more developed then the 18 month old. Max being Max, it could be a great opportunity to see how long he thinks he can hold his breath under water!! Ja ja ja

Oh yeah…all ojos will be on him when the time comes. Stay tuned.

Later in the afternoon, after some Bitty slamming and a FT with mi padre, Max and I did sling it up and had an afternoon walk. Wow…lots of new peeps to meet at that time of day.

Long walk…hola to Elder y Bulmaro and off to buy some Gerbers and some tea for madre. Back through centro where we sat at the jewelry store for 15 minutes, Max being all chilled out and tranquilo.

I love those times where we can sit back and the lil’chillster just enjoys himself and smiles at all the pretty girls. Whoa…he does what?

Headed home and off to start la cena…pollo.

Currently 10pm, Storage Wars is almost over…oh Barry, and Max is zzz and madre is back in the oficina, working on her Belgium based project.

Misc

Max had a good night sleep in the cuna, and then was a little restless in the big bed. Tonight he fell asleep and has stayed asleep. The next step is for us to see if he will sleep without us rocking him. Stay tuned.

Great $$ news. After 2 months, TD Bank has come through and refunded me the $$ that was debited out of my account while I was in Oaxaca con mis padres.

If you recall, I used a Scotiabank ATM, received no $$, but the account was debited. So, cha ching…all good.

And the fridge? No luck on getting $$ back or a new part from Puerto, so I plugged in MJ and made a call to Canada. One will be sent to Randy’s old oficina in Regina, and be there in 5 days max…get it? Max?

With it being sent to Regina and driven to Huatulco, I will still see it faster then getting another on via Puerto Escondido!!

Agua factoid. I was talking to Raphael the mecanico and he tells me he lives in Pochutla. He pays $60 pesos for a collectivo each way and was telling me that the water garaffons we pay $19 pesos for (plus $5 peso propina), cost only $10 pesos in Pochutla. Huh? Who knew?

Leaky roof? No rain for a few days…no leak for a few days. Nick could not get a hold of the builder, so I have 411’d Roman and asked him to come out and take a look. We only have 4 months of rainy weather, but it impacts Bex’s oficina and we will need to decide if we stay her in B10, or do the dreaded move to another condo and/or location. Doph. Stay tuned as our lease expires at the end of September.

Great neighbours? Did I tell you about the loaf of fresh pan brought over by our German neighbor? We are taken well care of by both her and our otra neighbor, Blanca.

Ok, mañana? El gimnasio and a fresh start after a day of re-energizing.

No fotos…lo siento.

Hasta mañana.

Marco, Bexico y Max
