Buenos noches mis amigos.
We have gone from DEFCON 4
to DEFCON 1…Max is a fast healer and today he is almost 100%. Phew…that makes
us all breathe a bit easier and of course it is nice to see our lil’character
back to him old self….and more.
So, the day? He had a
pretty good night sleeping, and like clock work he was awake’ish at 6am. I knew
Bex had been up with hm during the night, giving him the very rare mid-sleep
panale change, as well as some of his gotas, medical drops.
So I bundled him up, said
a prayer (not really) and then rocked him. The odds are normally 50/50 that he
will fall asleep again after 6am…and today we struck gold.
So 715am comes around and
we get up and let madre sleep.
A good morning runtina,
more bananas and happy to see some decent (?) looking panales. Phew.
840pm UPDATE
The Niño Whisperer took
over from madre and closed the show. Great set up by madre…but I get in there
and Max is banging his soother against the video camera. Huh? Oh Max.
15 minutes of rocking and
lights out…knock on wood.
Back to the day.
Desayunos, a walk, a nap,
some meds and some pool time…a successful morning if you ask us.
Madre took over and as I
headed out to el gimnasio, the two of them were headed to one of our now world
famoso chest naps.
Good walk to the gym, hola
to some peeps and good to get back into the gym after a few days and a few
Snickers bars…doph!! I failed to mention another reason I did not go to the gym
ayer. How about a pulled back that was caused by the crazy boat ride.
Ayer I was popping back
relaxers like they were Tic Tacs. Today, much better…and a few more days and I
will be 100%!!
A good workout and shared
my fishing story with Jhanhet.
Headed back through
centro, touched base with the gang and Daniel tells me he will know the final
outcome of our fridge shelf.
Good news? Randy y Karen
will be driving back in a month and if need be, I can order a shelf, have it
sent to their address and they would bring it down for us. Stay tuned.
Headed home and who had
JUST finished the 2 hour chest nap? Wow…two days in a row. Good for Max as he
obviously needed the zzzz.
I puttered and the
lil’jumper was in his JJ and then later, we all loaded up and headed to Che.
Good grab on some bread
pans…perfect for madre’s meatloaf!! We are also now set up for dinner for the
rest of the week. Going to be some good eats this week!!
We came home and the otra
Niño Whisperer managed to get the lil’napster down for another nap!!
And just like that, he
wakes up and is standing in his cuna, waiting patiently for us to come and say
hola. I used the art of distraction on him and managed to get him into some
surf shorts and were quickly out the door.
We were sooo fast, madre
was still making ensaldas for our cena and some cubitos de manzana for the lil’hombre.
She quickly caught up to
us and we had a great time. More peeps in the pool then we have seen in months.
Carlos from Gabriel’s was over with his familia…nice peeps.
Max is now doing the “dip
my head into water” rutina. He puts his forehead in and sometimes dips the side
of his head in as well. We love the fact that he has seen us go under water and
is now doing his own experimenting to see if he likes it.
And what else has he
started doing? Hello to besos!! We pucker up and come close to him and he opens
his mouth and comes to you!! The kid loves affection…when he isn’t staring at
trees blowing in the viento!! Ja ja ja
After the pool, it was
time for the evening rutina and other then a few minutes of “noise” right
before leche time, Max was a trooper.
And you are caught up with
the day.
Misc
Crisis? Bex has job
opportunities “coming out of the wazoo”. No crisis!! She will get all the info
from each client and then map it out and see what can or cannot be
accomplished. She has some repeat clients and she will make them a priority.
Now if someone wanted me
to manage a restaurant via the internet…I would be into that!! Ja ja ja
And for you Senor

Fotos.
Stood up on my own, got the basket out of bin, legs tired, sit on basket.
Why, hello there. What a dramatic lil'hombre!!
Arrrr...teething.
Waiting for their camion to be unloaded, these 3 hombres make great use of the trailer and the hamacas.
Under the shade of an arbol, a hombre and his wood tables.
Fonatur guys getting ready for comida, lunch.
And maybe a siesta under the bridge?
Good to see this dog is not pink anymore.
Ball caps on? Check!! Listo para Che!!
Mañana? No sé…but it will
be fun!!
Hey, just checked in on
the lil’hombre. Anyone know why he sleeps with his butt in the air?
Hasta mañana.
Marco, Bexico y Max
