Hola everyone!!

Today we had a later start…let the team sleep in!!

Cleaners came by…$200 for washrooms, kitchen and dusting…a deal if you ask me!!

Off to drop off the too small niño gear and they were very appreciative and better yet…I felt great about being able to directly help some people in need. As for why the clothes are too small…stay tuned.

Then it was off to take the VHS tape of mi padre’s 8mm family films, to get put on a DVD. The guy does it from his apartment…but it came back in a nice case, labeled and the quality is fine. And? His price is $20 and the other guy I called is $50!!

So, if you need to transfer some VHS to DVD (“other” home videos maybe? Ja ja ja), here is the guy to contact.

We dropped the tape off at 11 and picked it up at 3pm…inbetween I hit the gym, Bex fed Max (again and again and again), we had our last visit with the midwives and then we ate our last lunch at Joes.

Update from the midwives?

Max is NOT a small niño!! His head circumference is up 5cm since birth…bang on. His length is now 57cm, up 2 cm…bang on. As for his weight….he was born at 3745 grams (8 lbs and 4 oz) and after 4 weeks and 4 days, Max checks in at 5250 grams…a gain of 1505 grams and tips the scales at 11 lbs and 8 oz.

How big is that? Your average 3 month old….hmmmm!! ja ja ja But a heavy breast fed child is a-ok…they will lose that weight fast once they get onto solids.

Now you know why we have already had to donate some clothes!!

Raced home and right on schedule, mi hermana arrived to say hola to us and spend some time with Max.

Note the semi-famous Karen "head-tilt"!!

Great that we saw her and quite the drive to make her way here. Gracias!!

And mi otra hermana? She emailed me today that she has sent a little something for Max’s Navidad. It is headed to Oma and Opa and hopefully they get it before they come back to Vancouver!! Gracias Ione y familia.

Nissan update? All the parts are in and the team spent the day putting the truck together. I do not know where they ended the day, but it looks like picking it up tomorrow should not be an issue. Phew. Mike, mi Nissan amigo, tells me that they did forget to order a few gaskets (huh?), but he managed to procure what he needed.

I sent his dealership a thank you email and have already heard back. They were appreciative…you hear that Sears and Starbucks?

Satellite dish update? Two packages have been delivered and are awaiting pick up at Olen and Kim’s house!! Crazy busy day again tomorrow…might swing by and pick up the dish and HDPVR (AND Bex’s new Visa card) tonight.

Mañana? Last shot at el gimnasio before spending 6 days sitting on my butt in the camioneta, Nissan to pick up said camioneta and at 1145am we have an appointment with the doctor that performed Bex’s c-section. Just a check in to make sure he didn’t leave any utensils inside her. Just kidding RJ!!

And after all those tasks are completed? How about packing the truck? We are thrilled that we came back to Van for the birth and seeing all the peeps…but we are ready to get home.

Yes it is 5800 km to Huatulco, but every kilometer I log will be one closer to home and seeing my family!!

Some more fotos?

One from Svenner…lunch yesterday at Earls.

Bex seems a tad wired from her San Pelligrino!!
