If you made it through yesterdays update…felicidades!!! Today’s is no where near as long…and does have some fotos!!

Currently 4pm and this is where mi familia is.

Not sure that foto was meant to be posted on the blog….oops.

Sleeping Max

I was up at 8am and put the final touches to the condo prior to the arrival of Max y Bex. Another vacuum and mop and the place was as ready as it was going to be.

Off to the airport and was excited to see that they are doing some MAJOR road widening from just past Huatulco on towards the airport. When completed (2020?...ja ja ja) it will save some good time as currently it is a one land road, with lots of curves and you are often behind trucks and 18 wheelers etc.

The flight was on time and I took a few fotos of the airport as I waited.

The domestic arrival area

All of 3 check in counters for domestic flights.

I was going to take some of Max y Bex as they exited the secure area, but we had a change of plans. I was passed mi hijo and Bex went to grab the bags.

Wow has the lil’hombre added a few pounds and he REALLY likes to look around and absorb the surroundings. He was peaceful when handed to me and I think he remembers me….phew!!

Bex had a great flight…everyone loves Max and could not believe how well behaved he was on both the flight to Mex and to Huatulco. Someone asked in español “where did you buy him? He was so quiet!!”

A late night/morning for the 2 of them…room service at 2am and then on the 850am flight…enough said.

And the exciting part of her day? Interjet was demanding a boarding pass for Max even though he did not need a ticket. Bexico spent 40 minutes trying to clear this up and they were being very Mexican about it.

Don’t worry…you won’t miss your flight etc…but not telling her what they were doing to get her on a flight that left in 20 minutes. And she still needed to have her bags checked in and go through security.

In the end, they had a boarding pass printed, and escorted Bex y Max right to the gate and they made it!! Barely!!

We tried to nap…Max had a few cat naps here and there…in his new machine!!! But we have not been successful ourselves, until Bex used the sleep technique shown in the first foto.

Previously we put him in his new rocker and it had limited success…but I think he was just wired from all the travel and will love this thing later.

We were going to buy this thing on-line from ToysRUs.com, but Aimee, one of the owners of B10, went and got it for us and I picked it up in Portland OR on the way norte.

And last night at media noche. there I was putting it together. I could not have the two of them arrive, see the new stereo speakers and Blu-ray set up...and not our Conejito swing!!! ja ja ja

Bex did have a swim as I took care of Max, and then I brought him down to the pool to present him to the peeps down there. They all love him…and his 3 plus chins!! But the water was too cool for his pies…feet…we will wait until it is warmer…hello mayo!!

Plan? Bexico is mid way unpacking and really wants to get some oficina time. We are hoping to head to Pucks for some eats and maybe a frosty and then stop in at Nissan as well to get this part ordered.

Then it might be a DVD night…the Blu-ray is amazing on our new TV!! And then an early night…if possible!!

Off to hang some luces de Navidad

This is our cozy living room. The luces? They ain’t pretty…but we are festive here!! In a few years those light swill be on the palm trees at Mojon!!

Misc fotos.

Some things never seem to change.

But (many) others?

This building was constructed before we left and had only been painted for a few weeks when the sign painter came by. It looks like it has already changed owners or business.

Here is the sign painter on 31 de agosto.

New gravel sign.

Ok…off to Pucks...catch up later.

Just back and we had a great dinner...order the beef ribs!! Randy was in, Karen was out so she will just have to meet Max later.

Max behaved himself for the first half of the dinner and then we took turns keeping him tranquilo. The restaurant was quiet, but we still took him outside to allow patrons a quiet dinner. A note to all you parents who brought your screaming kids into my restaurants!! ja ja ja

We drove by Gabriels and showed Max off to Lalo...who called him a clone of me. Several Mexicans have said this...lo siento mi hijo! Ja ja ja

Home to the condo where we then introduced Max to the nice lady who runs Sueno Real, the condos where we stayed when we first came to visit Huatulco. She called him hermoso and gave Bex a hug y beso...kiss.

He just had his first bath in the baby bath tub...on the kitchen counter!! Hello old school. He loves the water just like his madre!!

ok...930pm...eyes are heavy...no DVD tonight.

Misc Max foto

Mañana...el gimnasio, alberca time and Nissan!! Bexico has her Mac set up and will through in some oficina time as well as a workout at home. We will work hard on getting a routine set...won't be hard!!

Have a great viernes all!!

Marco, Bex y Max
