Howdy all. 745pm and the pizzas are about to be ready for dinner…and then at 8pm…game 3 of the Nucks vs Sharks series. Esta noche it is going to be a great game!!

Our day…

Seems it was the same as many other days since we moved here…but with different fotos!!

End of first period…oh oh. 3-0 Sharks…but lots of time left to tie it up and then win!!

Fotos from the walk to the gym and then from the HOT walk we took to pay B10’s water bill.

The weather.

It was mainly cloudy this morning and then mainly sunny from noon until 3pm. It clouded up and we thought it would be cool enough for a walk..of course the sun came back out at 4pm!! Lol

Not sure which uniform I prefer.

This is the new company in town that is selling the posicle’ish treats.

Good to see this taxi driver.

He is assisting his fare (his madre maybe?) by carrying the cargo (looked like mangos) that the senora is going to try and sell.

I love this next guy.

He is a 60’ish hombre who is sharply dressed and walks around with the hand cart. Attached to the handcart are bags of vitamins, aspirins, small toothpaste etc. 99.9% of the peeps here are hard working!!

Español factoid...here in Mexico, you do not ask how old a person is. You ask how many years do they have. ¿Cuántos años tienes?

A camioneta.

They are loaded with the right supplies to make a palapa. Bamboo, long branches, some wood and metal for the roof.

And our umbrella theme continues. Daniel from Gabriel’s had told me that there are two names for umbrellas here. One for sun umbrellas and one for lluvia…rain. Now don’t ask me the names today…stay tuned.

Here is a senorita with her sun umbrella (based on the colors).

And here is the umbrella hombre selling his sun umbrellas.

And the lime fotos.

I watched this senora balancing her níno in one hand and then manage to get the bolsa de limons onto her head.

And they DO love their limes here.

This is “hot” (in many ways) Bexico.

We had just paid the water bill for B10 and needed some agua and a break in the sombra…shade.

The brand new Hospital Materno Infantil.

And last but not least, the furniture hombre.

The items are made out of pino and today the quality was defiantly lacking.

UPDATE

End of 2nd period and the score has not changed. It should have with the Canucks lucky to get a few 5 on 3 penaltys…but the Sharks goalie has bounced back from letting in 7 goals on miercoles.

As for the gym…empty. Had a short chat with Rosa. What did we discuss today? How about stretch marks on pregnant woman? That was quite the conversation in español!! Ja ja ja Mantequilla de coco…coco butter…lol

Great workout but the humido has returned so it saps the energy fairly fast.

No walk through town as I picked up some pollo for Bexico’s pizza and a quesadilla I was having. And the rest will be for ensalada de pollo sandwiches mañana at Mojon!!

I came home and we had the alberca time…letting Hector know there was an issue with the pool. No esta normal. Esta bien? And he came and fixed a pump issue. Hector (silent H) is a good guy and I think he speaks more ingles then he leads on. How do I know this? He sometimes laughs at my attempt at español when he clearly knows what I am trying to say. Ja ja ja

You know about the walk we took to Fonatur. Wow was it not only hot, but getting tougher on you know who. She is a trooper though!!

We stopped at the dulceria and someone loaded up on some Juicy Fruit gum and then we went to say hola to Daniel, but Samuel y Moises told us he would not return until mañana. I was misinformed.

Home and I took another dip in the pool to cool down. Bexico went right to the ensalada prep and you are pretty much caught up on our day.

Mañana? El gimnasio, Elektra to look at appliances again and then off to Mojon. We have NASCAR at 5pm and la cena is pork roast again!!

Hoping to have good Canucks news for you in mañana’s blog, but if not, don’t forget they play on domingo at 2pm Huatulco time!!

Buen fin de semana!!

Marco y Bexico
