Happy jueves to all!!

Anoche? Last night? How about that game??? And the Gordie Howe hat trick by Kevin Bieksa? Off to San Jose…hoping to get Friday’s start time correct!!! Ja ja ja

730pm…just had a small treblor (tremor)…and now the internet seems to be frozen? All good…it just needed a few minutes.

Now it is 830pm…la cena is finished and two lap tops are out and being used. Me…the blog, and Bexico working on some verbos de español for her Diary of Anne Frank libro.

Our day…ejercicio, Mojon, Che and then home.

Fotos from my walk.

All you need is a camioneta (pick up) and a cooler.

And you can sell coco frio anywhere you like.

Not a big money maker as product cost for the coco alone is probably 4-5 pesos, then you have straw and bag, labour and gas…and you sell them for $10 pesos.

The carpinteros are back.

And this hand cart means someone will be carting these items through town trying to sell them

Motos and quads.

You never see helmets on these young peeps. Doph.

As for the gym, a good work out, but a shorter one as we wanted to get to Mojon earlier then normal. We are not sure of the weather patterns as it seems to cloud over around 3pm.

As a matter of fact, it was clouding over in La Crucecita at noon when I returned from the gym. But good news, the weather at Mojon was great.

We were not stopped at Copalita…on the way to Mojon we did not even see anyone guarding the posts? But we did see the Estado Transito Policia on the Huatulco side of the Copalita Puente (bridge) and there were a lot of taxis on the Mojon side…but not going across the bridge. On the way home, there were even more taxis not crossing the bridge. Hmmmm?

Maybe they were about to set up a roadblock, as that seems to be the favorite method of trying to solve issues here.

Here is the weather looking out to the oceano.

And towards the montañas…not so pretty...thunderstorm nubes (clouds).

But do not be fooled by the foto of a calm oceano. Here are a few more oceano fotos…showing you what the swells were really like.

And with big swells, came a new realization.

We will really need to have a great plan for building on our lot. As you can see, some of the swells (the biggest we have EVER seen) came right up to and around one of our water wells…and we actually had one come into our palapa as we were sitting there!!

Not worried…the pool is at that end of the lot and will be raised almost 10 feet higher then the level of the playa.

This foto is towards the lot on our right…lots of water rushing in.

And this one shows the swells making their way inland on the the far side of the playa.

As the waves recessed, we were left with a few things.

A huge puddle.

And the bubbles coming from a crab that was down below.

The water "woke up" hundreds of crabs.

And also brought ashore a few coconuts.

Misc Mojon fotos.

More construction on the hillside.

Our lil’lizard friend.

And his friend, Henry, the hermit crab.

Suffice it to say, we did not spend too much time in the water. If the villas were built, today would have been an alberca day!!

So our day was about reading in the sun and under the palapa. One of us also had a short siesta!!

Packed up around 430pm and the weather was still sunny at Mojon!! Liking this idea…cloudy in La Crucecita and sunny at Mojon. Mind you we did receive a big rain at Mojon as the road already has been affected and our lot had it’s own drainage issues.

Off to Che and then home for alberca time.

And I think you are all caught up!!

Our upcoming plans? Maybe Mojon again on sábado o domingo and we are already doing some work for our new condo B10.

Nick has approved the work and Roman and his team will start up with a completion date of June 4. Thrilled Nick & Aimee are interested in having a lavadora y seacador in their condo…and they are even buying them. Such a convenience to have the washer and dryer ensuite.

We are buying a larger fridge and will be thrilled to have the extra room. But the thing we might be most excited about? We are getting an extension made so we can change one of the beds into a king size!!

So…things to do? Check out washers and dryers and get one approved by N&A, source out the fridge, get Roman involved to ensure we have the right breakers for the w&d, look for a king size mattress, start planning for someone to clean both G10 and B10, see if Moises y Samuel want to make some $$ by moving our possessions….and we don’t even move until mid September!! Ja ja ja

So all…have a great viernes!!

Mañana…don’t forget the Canucks game is on at 8pm Huatuco time!!

Bubba y Bexico
