Buenos noches all!!
How about them apples? Can you believe the schedule for the Stanley Cup Finals? Who runs that league….Bettman or NBC? So much for the “time off” advantage the Canucks had. Oh well…they will still win!!!
We changed our plans for the day…no Mojon. ¿Por que? Bexico needed to make a phone call at 130pm our time. She has another lead on some work and it is time sensitive so we made the call to postpone Mojon until mañana. Not only does she have this lead, but she has also some nibbles on a few more.
Quite exciting as these are unsolicited contacts. They are seeing her website, liking her work and then requesting samples etc. And when she needs a break from all this work…alberca time!! Ja ja ja
Our day…el gimnasio, alberca time, Che and then la cena.
Not much new at the gym…it was nice to see one of Rosa’s amigas, Anna, leave and then return to say adios to me. It is a good group of peeps there.
Still the second most excited hombre (after me) about our expected níno? Elder the tire repair hombre. Today he asks me how many more months and when I tell him cinco, he smiles and calls me Papa. I tell him “hecho en Mexico” and both Elder and his helper both laugh!!
And the big news at the gym?
Galdino loosened the purse strings and has purchased 3 slightly used elliptical machines!! More ways to achieve some cardio.
Here are the rest of the fotos from today.
Our weather.
Cloudy this morning and then a few hours of sunshine. Clouds rolled back in around 2pm, leading to some nice alberca time…not too hot.
Bubba taking a foto.
This was taken via a mirrored wall in the restaurante across the street from our complex.
Not many of these in town.
Perros grandes (big dogs) that is.
Lots of these in town.
You see many senoritas balancing lots of different containers on their heads. Today, it was limes.
Moto (scooter) foto.
Only 3 peeps on this moto…how old is the níno? Yikes. I saw another moto with 3 peeps on it…the padre wearing a helmet and two young nínos sin (without) helmet. Yikes again.
The gas appliance hombre is back.
How many of these hombres are travelling the state looking for sales? Maybe they are related to the wood hombres?
Long distance BONICE foto.
It only goes to prove my point that the Mexican people as a whole are hard working. Something new comes to town and if it has a possibility of making money to help their families, they will give it a shot.
No walk through town today as I was trying to beat the incoming clouds and get some sunny alberca time. It didn’t happen, but as I said, the alberca time sin el sol was nice.
Che was Che…today’s cena is going to be muslo pollo…chicken thighs con arroz y papas.
Have a great viernes all.
Bubba y Bexico
