Hola amigos. Welcome to “no peliculas miercoles”…as at the cine, only one movie en ingles and it is not a good one.

So instead….Notting Hill on dvd. Argh…dvd player crapping out. I think if we buy one here, it only plays Mexican dvds. Might have to wait for Future Shop in North Van!!

Our day…

It started later then planned and the next thing you know it is 1130am and I haven’t even hit the gym yet.

So off I go and Bexico gets to work on both her ejercicio y some oficina work.

With our later start and Bexico having emails and files going back and forth, we decided to skip Mojon and hit Playa Chahue instead as it is only 5 minutes away.

I am digging the special in the bottom right corner…martes…4 tacos y una coca cola for $45 pesos.

The gym was good, empty when I arrived and that usually means that Rosa wants to spend some time chatting. Today was no different and we cleared up the baby shower info. She wants the shower before we leave and it does not matter if it is a níno o níno as the regalo (gifts) will be blanco!!

Not sure who Rosa is planning on inviting…as we don’t know any of her amigas!! Ja ja ja. But it should be fun for Bexico.

Despues the workout it was home and off we went.

Every time I see these types of beach front houses, it only makes me hunger more for what we will have at Mojon.

The tide was coming in and there were a few large swells that made us move our umbrella and chairs. After a few moves, it was time to sit on the patio of the Club and have a cerveza and some papas fritas…French fries!!

Home for some solo alberca time and then it was upstairs to eat a salad, do some internet surfing and finally la cena. Tonight it was pulpa de cerdo…thick chunks of pork…con arroz.

Mañana? Bexico has lots of work on the go, so it is a work day. Good news is that she might have another contract lined up via someone in Ottawa. She continues to work on the Paris project but the internet speed and lighting remain issues.

The internet is faster…but it is still taking hours to upload these HD video files. We will see where this all goes…might need to change the plan on this contract.

And of course we hope to see the Canucks go up 3 games to 1…starts at 730pm our time.

The gist....May 3: Holy Cross Day...Día de la Santa Cruz, when construction workers decorate and mount crosses on unfinished buildings, followed by fireworks (and we heard those!!) and picnics at the construction site.
