Hola everyone!! Are you all still excited about the Canuck’s win anoche?

Today…a good day here in Huatulco. Up early as I had a meeting to attend but first I vacuumed the condo so Bexico could do the mopping.

Vacuuming in 33 degree plus heat…cardio in itself.

After my pow-wow it was back home to grab the shopping list (argh). Stopped at the Correo…no book for Bexico yet…doph…and then I paid the water bill.

Che was Che…picked up some more cheddar!! Ja ja ja. And para mañana’s cena…muslos de pollo…chicken thighs.

Came home and time for el gimnasio.

Fotos from my walk.

A sad ending. Did she fall?

Just laying there motionless. Were her 9 lives used up?

Nah….just sleeping!! But honestly, I woke Gato Negro up because I wasn’t sure she was breathing!!

Later in the day when Bexico and I went for a walk, we came upon sleeping beauty once again.

The sock and underwear hombres have returned.

And the balancers from Cirque de Soleil.

Later in the day I saw a 10 year old níno walking around town carrying and selling one of these pieces. Not quite ready for the big top.

Don’t judge a book by it’s cover.

Our doctor’s office.

Just a couple of amigos.

They seemed to be doing fine in the heat.

This is Gabriel the Owl…deserted.

Negocio est malo. But at least Lalo was alive the next time we walked by.

Check out the pots y pan hombre.

He knows how to draw a crowd.

I am not sure if these peeps are getting a deal by buying from him vs a tienda.

Here is something new.

The mop carro?

Back to the gym…tranquilo in there. Allows me to use all the equipment, but also means lots of chats with Rosa…and today with Memo as well.

Rosa’s weekend? Quiet. But she did watch Cruz Azul lose their football-soccer game last night. Her hijo, Juan Manuel, was quiet upset as that is his equipo favorito…favorite team. She also mentioned that Sally had been in and was thankful for the foto I had left for her. The foto was of her espousa Hector and dos hijos at the taekwondo event.

What about Memo? Gooooood weekend and he then wanted to talk about exercises and have me…how do you say it in ingles?...spot him as he did some weights.

All good because I consider the gymnasio mi segundo casa!!

Great workout…all energized after sleeping most of ayer!!! Ja ja ja.

After gym and my walk home, it was alberca time…but NO it wasn’t. For the first time ever…the pool just did not look clean enough to swim in. It is on my list for mañana to ask por que. Unacceptable.

The weather started getting rough, the tiny ship was tossed…(Gilligan’s Island theme)

Our weather started out with sunny skies and then by 3pm we were totally clouded over and then the thunder started.

Ayer (yesterday), this is what 90% chance of thunderstorms looked like from Mojon’s point of view.

Hoy (today), only a few rain drops and off we went for a walk.

First stop? Carlos and a shrimp cocktail for Bexico.

Carlos is a very friendly amigo, his hija is Rebecca as well, and he likes to talk to us about his life…mainly in español. Hoy (today) he showed us a bunch of fotos from his time in Nashville where he used to work.

We really like this 3 wheeler.

It is a pick up, seat two…perfect for Bexico y níno…in car seat of course.

This is Bexico’s favorite tienda de ropa (clothing store) here in town.

And based on the militar questioning my hairstyle…

I might need to head here soon!! Ja ja ja

Ahhhh Mexico.

A chorty of a senorita, with her 3 litro bottle of Coca Cola!!

Here is Betto.

He is another hard working hombre. He works probably 13-14 plus hours a day to take care of his family. He cleans pools from 6am -10am and then works 11am-8pm plus at a restaurante next to Gabriels. He is also Gabriels accountant.

Not sure what this is about.

And the last foto of the day.

These two young hombres were scoping out a young senorita as she walked up the street.

With no pool and the weather changing, we were home by 430pm. Lots of time to surf the web while Bexico finished off another page of work for her Ottawa contact.

Burgers for la cena and that gets you caught up on our day.

Mañana…back at it. Not sure our Mojon plans as we play that by ear with the weather.

The next Canuck’s game…miercoles!!

Hasta luego.
