Hola amigos.
It looks like Blogger has solved it’s website issues....maybe it was viernes el 13 issues? Ja ja ja
Here is our viernes update.
Up early and I met with Roman and to of his peeps. We reviewed B10 and the work both ourselves and the landlords want done. Hope to have the quote by early next week.
Great news is that Roman only charges $2000 pesos to install satellite TV…we will probably bring a dish and box down with us when we return in December!!
Funny…up early but did not make it to the gym any earlier. Lol Too bad as ayer (yesterday) it was a lot cooler and today it was HOT on the walk. Not hating…just stating.
While I was at the gym, Bexico was busy compressing the files to be sent to Paris. It is quite the process as she now takes them from her Mac and then compresses them on mine and emails them from hers. Why? My laptop is that much newer and faster.
We have to plan on getting her a new Mac upon our return to Vancouver. With all her work, she needs the latest and greatest.
Fotos from the walk.
WFSITBOTT?
A whole lotta of individually wrapped papayas.
And from the gym. What is better then WD 40?
WB 50!! Hello!!
Not a bad life for school kids!!
Zipping to school on their 50cc moto.
Madres y abuelas are revered here.
This abuela was being escorted home from the grocery store by her nieto, her grandson.
And here is Elder, my llanteria (tire repair) amigo.
Tough day at his oficina!!
For the gato negro fan club.
Gato just chilling at the condo, hanging with her Mexican amigos.
Nothing new at the gym, but it has been quiet in there recently.
Quick walk through town and stopped in to chat with Lalo. He needs a new laptop battery and good luck finding one here. He has one guy who may try to get him one…for $1500 pesos. I went on line and found them in Canada for $40 Cdn or around $500 pesos.
If he hasn’t managed to find one by December, I will bring him one back upon our return.
Came home and Bexico was having a Skype with her good amiga Le Streb. Great to hear the girls chatting it up as Bexico shares her doctor’s visit stories!! Ja ja ja
When she was done, it was off to try and pay the water bill and hit Che. We first stopped at Correo but no book for Bexico yet. We are approaching 6 weeks….hmmmm.
And no luck at Fonatur either. They are closed from 1-4pm…gotta get me a job there!!
But Che was open and look what we found….orange gold!!!
Yup…for the first time EVER, we have found cheddar cheese in La Crucecita. We bought 2 kilos worth…at $160 pesos/kilo. And we changed tonites la cena to burritos…con queso cheddar!!!
But we have gone from solving one crisis to approaching another.
Yup…that bottle in the freezer is all the Crown I have left!! And I will not be cracking the Mojon bottle until we can toast the villas!! Seriously…I was kidding. No crisis as I probably have one Crown per semana.
Big load of groceries and then it was home for alberca time. We LOVE how tranquilo the complex is at this time of year.
The weather? A hazy morning, a sunny afternoon and then overcast after 330pm. The daily forecasts remain to be 60% chance of thundershowers…but we have still not experienced them.
Came in and did some internet surfing antes la cena (before dinner). Bexico is looking to stay in shape during the pregnancy and we found a few workout videos. We are looking for votes.
Please email us your vote…workout #1, workout #2 or workout #3.
We ate la cena and watched some videos and that was our exciting viernes!!
Mañana? El gimnasio and then Mojon!! We have moved our rib eye la cena (from Papalopan) until mañana and it will be hamburguesa domingo!!
Buen fin de semana all!!
