It is jueves…7pm here in Huatulco.
Happy cinco de mayo!! No celebrations here...not a big deal?
Just waiting for the pasta to finish cooking and we will then eat la cena antes the Canucks game!!
Had to re-do the pasta water as some black “specs” fell into the water as I was pouring in the first batch of penne. Good thing we had back up as the specs turned out to be bugs of some sort…in a new and sealed package. Oh well.
Our neighbors from across our front door, have just returned. We held their mail for them and they looked genuinely happy and surprised that we would do this for them. Dos simpatico canadiense!!
The day was tranquilo…and the city is as well.
El gimnasio and NO fotos on the way, but 3 on the way back.
At the gym it was almost empty for the first hour and then the peeps rolled in. When I first got there Rosa’s amiga Anna arrived and I knew she would like to see the fotos of níno so out came the iPod. Rosa then called over an otra amiga that was on her way out and she too got into the foto show!!
It was hilarious as they were speed questioning me…in español, and I did my best to answer and if I was not sure, I would look over at mi maestra (teacher) Rosa and she would fill in the blanks or correct my español!!
Great workout…but it was hot!! Ayer it was up in the 37’s in the shade.
Memo arrived as I was leaving and he was quite pleased when I showed him I had actually downloaded 2 of the songs he plays (blares) at the gym…and one is even in español!! Ja ja ja

Maybe the problem is that there are only 5 pistons? These were from a huge bus with 5 very hot and oily Mexicans working to fix it.

Stopped in to see the boys…wow is it quiet. I did get an invite to watch the joven hombres (the young men who polish the jewelry) at their tai-kwon-do exhibition on sábado. Trés a la tarde…we will be there.
Stopped in for some sandia…the platanos are very ripe currently so we will wait until the new delivery arrives mañana.
Alberca time…solo again!! The pool needs some straining and maybe some more chlorine…maybe they clean it less often at this time of year?
We hit Che for some eats and found more of the loma cerdo. We had meat sauce on penne tonight and the cerdo is para mañana. Sábado is now home made pizza night and then some ring o’fire chili for domingo!!

The internet streaming esta noche is great!! And it makes the 2-1 Vancouver lead after 2 periods look even that much better!!
Hoy, Bexico was busy on and off with phone calls and oficina work. Lots on the go for her and the same will occur mañana.
UPDATE
2-2 in the 3rd period. Nashville’s goalie has been the game saver…maybe the series saver.
Our viernes…some house cleaning on top of the regular routine.
