Well…what a domingo!! And now lunes has come and gone.
No fotos…none that can compare to domingos!! Ja ja ja
Regular day for us, with the exception of many “felicidades” from all of our local amigos and more from our friends in Canada. Thank you all for your well wishes.
The most excited person I talked with today? Elder the llantera hombre!! Hilarious that he was so excited for us!!
Pan frances para desayunos and then we worked on Bexico’s filming. We are using the Canon T1i for HD filming of a contract.
Tough going as we need to film only Bexico’s hand and wrist as she draws some pictures. Lighting, getting the paper correct, keeping her head out of the frame etc.
Next issue is the upload speed. Internet service here is dodgy due to the fact that until recently, there was only one company providing in service in all of Mexico. The richest man in the world owns it…Slim.
According to some research, our Paquete Acerques has a download of....hang on…2 Mb and an upload of 384 kb. We are going to look into the Sinlímites package that goes to 5 Mb and 768 kb.
We hope this helps as it is taking HOURS for our video to be uploaded and then sent to Paris. Any suggestions out there?
So we have figured out all the mechanics and now we need to solve the internet. Welcome to Mexico!!
Off to the gym where Rosa was thrilled for us!! Great workout and then a stroll through town where I chatted up the boys. Both of them have their own nínos and it was peculiar in the minds of Mexicans why peeps who have been together as long as us, did not have kids.
So everyone is happy and excited….lol.
Home for alberca time and it was empty for most of the time. A Mexican family came in and the hombre proceeded to chat us up in español. When he realized we are working on our español, he switched to spanglish and we all got along fine!!
Tranquilo afternoon, catching up on emails and reading more about Osama. La cena…the second burger!! Delicious.
Not much going on esta noche (tonight). Bexico did some work and we are now chilling with Hanibal on the tube.
Mañana? Bexico is dealing with Telmex and I am at the gym. Next trip to Mojon will be miercoles.
