Let's start with una sonrisa!! Well...we did yesterday at least!!

Buenos tardes and happy to report that the internet is still working!! Yahoo!! One of the many moments of excitement when you live in Huatulco!!

A good day with it's own wacky moments.

It took 55 minutos to get Max to fall asleep. I scratch my head and wonder what we can be doing differently. But he was asleep by 830pm and had 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep until he needed some manos around 4am. Asleep until 540am and then into Poppa's arms for another 40 minutos. Score!!

The usual rutina...videos, tranquilo time and the huge desayunos. We had a huge to-do list, so we boogeyd out the door.

Lets see...G10 to get the water turned on as Griselda was coming to clean up the mess left by the plomeros, onto the arbol de limon to stock up for tonight's pico de gallo, onto the tienda de fruta for the rest of the goods, then onto Foto Conejo as we had an issue with the pasaporte foto.

We posed for fotos ayer and picked them up last night. When we got home post bici-tour, I realized that Max's foto was not the correct dimensions...even though I had supplied them with the numbers. Doph.

Oh well, we returned today, said hola hola to all the peeps we know, and the main hombre said no problem. And when I picked it up at 3pm...listo!!

After the foto pit stop, Max and I toured to Poopie Loopie and grabbed the pollo para la cena y the molida res para mañana.

Home to drop off the meat and get Griselda going on G10. And then we had some wackiness. Maybe Max was tired, but it was only 10am...but he wanted leche. Leche is for siesta time, maybe I should have given him some, but we offered agua and he wanted none of it.

I managed to get him out of the casa and into the camioneta verde...but he was a low energy niño. I asked f he was ok and he said yes and then just sat there all quiet.

Onto Soriana and he did not want to do anything but sit in the actual cart...where the groceries go. Oh well, I piled them up around them and he had fun. He helped unload the groceries, from inside the cart, and then went to play on the rides...that don't work.

He wanted to play "the game" again and I put him back into the cart and pretended it was rolling down the parking lot. He laughed so hard that I just had to do it a few more times.

Home for leche y libros and he was lights out fairly fast...pooped. Only a 65 minuto siesta, but straight through.

Post siesta, I headed to el gimnasio and took the truck because it was so stinking hot. Not sure how hot it was, but a 1.5 litro bottle of agua, frozen solid 1/2 way, was completely melted in 45 minutos.

How hot is it right now?

Just another day of feeling like 46,0 grados!! Not hating...but I am stating the facts...this heat is draining us. Phew!

Post gym, off to pick up the fotos, some huevos and some cola for the CP boys, who always appreciate a cold Coke.

After the siesta, Max and madre had some play time and then onto cooking their comida. Madre helped Bubba out by cooking the pollo for tonight and making the pico as well. Grassy ass madre!!!

We are down to one hour of Laura time and she arrived to spend it with Max. They went down stairs to play ball and 10 minutos later he was upset and wanted his madre. He missed his madre.

Laura is going away and won't be back until septiembre, so Bex will pick up the clase de español and we will quit procrastinating and look into getting Max into a morning playgroup. Stay tuned.

I saw the familia when I arrived home as they were headed out to another amigas casa. Pool party time!! They will be home in 25 minutos or so and then the boys will be cooking up some quesadillas together!!

So...onto the fotos!!

From ayer, Max y Ironman out for a prowl.

Into SCA and Max found a unique place for an agua pit stop...on top of bolsas de azucar.

Max practicing his letras. He knows almost the complete alphabet en ingles. Next up...en español!!

Señor Serio at the alberca.

Not many fotos from today due to the go go go nature of our morning. Here Max is hanging on the escalera in edificio G.

If I play my cards right, we may get a smile.

Mexican bunk beds!!

Misc...you wondered if I had the weather stats ready? Keep reading!!

For the scorching month of julio, we had average lows of 27,8 grados and highs of 33,5. How does that compare to 2013? Waaaaaay hotter!! We had averages of 26,8 and 31,9. Not only did we have daily highs 1,6 grados higher, we did not have one day without humidity. That is the killer as last year we had only 2 días. Ouch.

As for days with precipitation, we had 4 last year and 2 this year, not counting the 1 minuto shower of a few nights ago.

Agosto? Last year's averages were 26,8 and 32,7...very similar to what we just experienced. We had 8 days with some rain and only 3 days of humido...here's hoping!!

And big news? Mañana might be the first day sin panales for the lil'man. Not only are we ready, oh we are ready, but the latest batch of jumbo (jooombo) panales, are not big enough for Max. So...Bex is taking the lead...but Max does 99% of his "biz" when he is with his padre!! Ja ja ja

Ok, off to cook la cena. I will finish this off after the bici ride.

Hasta pronto!!

As those kids say...OMG!! It is only 810pm and Max is asleep in the cuna...what will I do with all this extra time? I know...I will upload THIS quick movie clip for you.

Oh, the lil'man loves to dance. There was a musical instrument (large kinda xylophone from Chiapas)  in front of Los Portales and Max just cut loose. That clip was from the 2nd song, I was too busy admiring him dancing for 2 minutos to the first song to film it.

Time to end the update...Max y Bex had a fun time at their amiga's casa...Max was enamoured with baby Emma and even held her...fotos to follow mañana. The peeps live near Santa Cruz and normally Bex would ride her bici there but...yup, another flat tire. Yikes. So they taxi'd it and Max said "adios amigo" to the driver when he was dropped off at home!! Score!!

Then he raced to the condo and from downstairs yelled "hola hola Poppa", our usual rutina, and then he yelled up "Max help Poppa cook". Hello!!!

Want the best quesadillas in town? Come try the Van/Arnold quesadillas!! Pollo cooked by madre, cheese sprinkled on by Max and then Poppa cooks them and Max plates them. Yummy!!

Dinner, clean up, bici ride and on the way home we picked up Bex's bici, tina time, leche y libros and then onto bed time.

More misc?

Max and I reviewed the luz on the modem and he was sooooo excited to see the green light. And after I told him that we could now use the internet, Max asked to watch the music video Hangover. Of course he did.

He then goes on to tell me that the guy that sings that song, also sings Gangham Style, and his name is Psy. I told him there was another singer on the video Hangover and told Max the name was Snoop Dog (or is it Lion now?). Max stares at me, looks at my face to see if I am kidding him, and then blurts out "Snoop Dog...like the perro". I cracked up laughing...our niño is VERY funny!!

Cool to hear? Max walking up to niños y niñas and saying "hola". Yesterday he saw a small niña walking down some stairs and thinking they were dangerous, told her "no amiga". So awesome to see!!

And that was our day!!

What? Fin de semana already? No Mojon trip planned, we will head there next week. But we have race domingo of course!!

Have a great weekend y hasta mañana.

Marco, Bexico y Max
