Buenos noches!! Straight into our día!!

Now THAT was a bed time!! The Niño Whisper was in the room at 750pm and the little man was in his cuna at 8pm and I was outta there at 815pm. Score!!

And heard coming from the lil'man's boca at 805pm? At first I could not hear him, but he repeated it before he fell asleep...."I am practicing wiggling my ears". Straight from an episode of Caillou that he had watched earlier in the día!!

A good noche, a few wake ups and no pee break...which equals a wet cuna at 2am. Doph.

The next thing I know, I am hearing loud, super loud thunder and it is accompanied by some wicked lightning. Max? Slept right through it all.

Bex? Up at 4am to close some windows, lay out some towels and buckets and cover some electronics because there was some torrential downpour occurring!!

And when The Boys woke up at 720am...yes 720am...the rain was coming down fierce. How fierce?

So fierce that it was coming through the walls upstairs.

Through the walls above our 2nd baño.

Through the walls of the upstairs gable.

Through the roof and running down the wall above our front door.

And then after it ran down the wall, it ran into the casa above the door jam...and at 730pm, it is still dripping slowly.

No damage to our goods as we generally know where the leaks are...but a pain in the butt and we have some pretty dark clouds in the skies tonight tambien.

Our landlords are great, but living in Hawaii, this is the furthest thing from their minds. And we have the issue 3-4 times a year....but good luck selling when we move out. Doph.  I will drop them a line tonight and see what they want to do about this.

Part of it is their responsibility as they had the loft and gable installed, with HOA approval. But the other leaks are HOA responsibility and trying to get them to fix something like this is near impossible.

For a long time, I heard peeps on the first and second floors would not pay their monthly fees that help fix the roofs, because they feel it should only be the peeps on the 3rd floor paying. Oh yes...wacky!!

Back to the day. Videos, desayunos, pouring rain, tranquilo time, Soriana time and by then el sol and the humido returned.

How hot was it?

This was from later in the day, but you get the idea...70% humido pushing the 30,0 grados to feel like 42,0. It was a 4 shirt day...phew.

Home to unpack and then The Boys had a short prowl before returning for leche y libros. With the 720am wake up, we were not betting on a siesta, and good thing we didn't bet as Max did not want one.

He had some tranquilo time and then madre spent the afternoon with him and we both agree he is not the same ol'Max without his siesta. But what can you do other then help him get through the rest of the day.

And for them that meant lunch, some cleaning as Max loves helping clean the casa, then they wheeled by el gimnasio (the best part of mi día), pit stopped into the tailor and then off to Tic Toc for a play date with some amigos.

My afternoon? I hit el gimnasio and then came home to mop the front door area every 10 minutos, cleaned up the rest of the casa, had a short tranquilo time and then got into cooking the pollo muslo para la cena.

The familia was home at 515pm and Max lay on the couch drinking leche...he was pooped. But after a good dinner and some PSY videos, he had eaten all his dinner and was ready for a bici tour.

UPDATE....currently 745pm and The Niño Whisperer is due to close the show. Wish me luck!!

Ok...that was easy. The lil'man was soooo tired that he was slurring his words!! And after 10 minutos he was in his cuna and after 20 minutos...lights out!! Yahoo.

The development a human niño goes through is wacky...all of a sudden he goes from 5am wake ups and 2 hour siestas, to 1 hour siestas to 720am wake ups with no siestas. Bubba misses his siesta!! Ja ja ja

Ok...back to the day.

We had a good bici tour and then home for tina time, leche y libros and that was our día!!

Due to the lluvia, we have no Max fotos, but we do have a few from my walk to and from el gimnasio.

Feels like 42,0 grados and near the tiangus, someone has left his load of comforters...grand oferta....big sale!!

And when you see the hand cart with comforters, you know the mother ship is near!!

Politics in Mexico. Vote for the wrong municipal candidate, you live with baches, pot holes full of agua.

Someone misses the hombre who delivered pollo and who was murdered here.

What...fin de semana already? Wacky race schedule...domingo at 630pm...huh?

And hoping to return back to dry days so the lil'man can get his regular bici ride back in the rutina!!

Have a great weekend y hasta mañana.

Marco, Bexico y Max
