On the prowl with hoja in hand. Max calls these "Hugo shorts" because he wore them to Hugo's birthday party...6 or 7 months ago!!

Buenos tardes!! Did I mention that I think our casa is jinxed? So....last night during bed time, Max y madre had a chat about Max climbing on her and hurting her. It brought tears to Max's ojos and when I took over bed time duty...he was muy triste, sad.

I guess in his mind, Bex was unhappy that he hurt her, then she leaves and the Poppa comes in. He thought madre was angry and not coming back.

More tears and the only way to resolve this was to have madre complete all of the bed time. Yikes. So...at 9pm she came out of the bed room and Max had finally fallen asleep in the cuna.

During the noche, he had his usual 10pm pee break and then twice during the night he flipped himself around so his feet were on his pillow. I fixed him up and we slept through until 630am.

Videos and then into the palacio for what is supposed to be tranquilo time, but let's add up the score. By 8am we had business in the ginchies, and due to a light trigger gag reflex, we had puked while on the baño. Nice.

Onto a great desayunos with at least two "Poppa Poppa"...with no success. And between desayunos and getting ready to go out for the prowl? More, yes more, business in the clean ginchies and all of breakfast yakked up into a bowl, on my foot and onto the baño floor. Hmmmm...argh.

Already 9am...might as well get madre involved in this fun, so I called her and while still dreaming, she came out to help.

What a morning...our casa is jinxed!! we must have missed the baño training window and we will now have to wait until the lil'man is tired of panales...because his Poppa is tired of poo nuggets in the ginchies!!

And you are probably tired of reading about it...or are laughing hard at us!!

Out for a good prowl...we pit stopped at the barber shop!! Max knows where it is and recognizes the barber pole out front, as well as the barber. But he has never been in and it took a minuto to convince him it was a-ok.

On went the cartoons and Max watched those for a minute until he started seeing a years worth of his Poppa's caballo fall to the floor. Then he circled me, the chair I was in, and the barber, keeping an ojo on what was going on.

Twenty minutes and 5 kilos later, I was clean cut and Max was amazed at what he saw. $100 pesos including propina and off we went with Max staring at my head and wanting to touch the hair cut. He said to me that he wanted a hair cut next time, but at home he told his madre that he wanted to "keep his beautiful hair". Ja ja ja

Prowled around centro and then headed home for a nice swim. Upstairs for leche y libros and back to the jnxed casa...Max ony had a 45 minuto siesta.

Madre normally takes over when he wakes up, but she had just arrived from her bici ride, so back into the bedroom we went and The Boys read a bunch of Dr Seuss books.

When Bex was ready, I grabbed a sandwich and was off to el gimnasio and the familia had some cooking to do, ate their comida and then were off to the playa.

Currently 520pm and they have returned from a fun afternoon and while Bex cleans up, Max sits next to me immersed in Word World.

The pollo muslo will be ready in 15 minutos...onto the fotos.

This is Max showing me what he does when he smells the stinky camion de basura drive by.

School is back in session and the padres are back peering into the school yard. I am sure that will be us one day...but not here in Huatulco.

Huge sonrisa as his red car has returned!!

We bought a foto album so Max could have some fotos all in one place. Here he looks at the fotos of himself climbing up on all the camions we have come across during our prowls y tours. Steam roller, dump truck, concrete pumpers etc.

A few from yesterday's pollo cook off. Max Van in his ginchies...looking toight Max!!

Ok...back at you after tina time.

Hasta pronto.

Buenos tardes again.

Leche time is almost up...and due to "not listening", it is a book free zone tonight. Too bad as Max y madre love the libros, but the lil'man seems to get riled up post tina time and after several attempts at getting him to calm himself down, including a calm down time out, he just couldn't do it and now he deals with the consequences.

Hoping, and if I was religious I would be praying, that we have a better bed time then anoche. I guess I will find out in 15 minutos and you will find out mañana.

As for the rest of our día...great dinner, onto clean up and then we had an enjoyable bici ride and then headed home for tina time. Pretty straight forward noche.

Mañana? Che martes...hello!!

Have a great Tuesday y hasta mañana.

Marco, Bexico y Max
