Señor Max almost breaking into a smile.

Buenos tardes...currently 1205pm.

You can tell how well siesta time is going when 20 minutos into siesta time, Bubba slowly opens the door to the bedroom and sees Max in Bex's arms, being bounced like a bucking bronco and Bex holding one hand over his ojos...which are covered with a cloth to help him keep his ojos closed. Kinda like the blinds caballos, horses, use.

We really want him to have a siesta before we head to playa Mojon, but even before siesta time he was telling us he was not going to sleep. Doph.

Two more minutos and I am to go back and check again and see if The Niño Whisperer...Bouncer...is needed.

Ok...he is asleep in Bex's arms and she is going to try the manoeuvre...roll him onto the bed without him waking up. It has been this way for a long time, with much success...fingers crossed!!

Bex was successful!! Good work madre!! So at 1235pm, Bubba shares some time in the chill room and types away. I expect Max to be awake by 115pm and then we will load up and be on our way with hot dogs ready to eat by 230pm!!

And at 115pm on the nose...the lil'man is awake!! Off we go. Hasta pronto!!

Buenos tardes!!

Currently 730pm and we are under way with libros y leche!! Will we have another super bed time like anoche, last night?

Max was sooooo tired that he was lights out in my arms 10 minutos after I took over from Bex. And how was the noche? Other then quite a bit of talking, he slept straight through until 635am. Score!!

So...we are obviously hoping for a repeat of that!!

And the rest of the día? Videos, tranquilo time, in and out of the baño many times....limited success, a good desayunos and then onto the bici for a tour.

El 28 de agosto is coming up soon, so Max and I had some secret missions to run and after two pit stops in the stinking hot sun, we headed home for the panale pit stop and then off for a swim.

Bex was rolling in from her bici ride, so she joined us for a swim and then headed up for some eats. The boys had another 15 minutos or so and then up we went for the leche, libros and afore mentioned siesta.

Post siesta...go go go and into the camioneta verde. We landed at playa Mojon around 215pm and I had the poop scared out of me as I was moving things from the camioneta to under our palapa.

We have lots of vegetation on the lot and that includes some vine looking things. I was just walking under the palapa when one of the vines, a 4 foot long one, moved and reared up. Uhhhhh...that was NO vine, but una serpiente, snake.

Now this thing was only 4 feet long, and had a diameter of a peso (look it up), but it was not happy to see me and was in the attack position. I backed away, it lay down and took off for the vegetation.

Max was concerned due to my loud yelp, but we assured him I was ok and Bex and I confirmed this is one of the reasons we do not let Max roam through the brush. Yikes.

A SUPER afternoon and the time flew. Hot dogs, wheel barrow time, playa time, swim time and bici time...all before we headed home at 5pm.

It was a low tide and for the first time in months, the water was swimmable for the lil'man. That means he is in a float and rides the olas, chicos y grandes.

After 20 minutos of laughs and giggles, the tide was starting to come in and the current much stronger, so we were outta there. We have had our own set of close calls and know how to play it safe!!

Home by 530pm and after the mad scramble for clean up, dinner was cooked and the lomo chops were delicious!!

A late dinner so the post cena activities were cancelled and we stretched out the rutinas. Clean up, FT con Oma y Opa, Play Doh time and then tina time and you are all caught up.

So...onto the fotos.

Pre-tour poses.

If you take too long, he edges down the rampa knowing he is not allowed to go all the way without his madre o padre.

This is a muy amable hombre that we see often on the CP grounds. Today we saw him at the gates and Max is giving him the once over.

And then they both realize they are dressed like twins.

Having spotted a water meter cemented into the middle of a parking lot, of course we must stop.

And then see if we can swing our leg over it. Oh Max!!

We raced by the llanta at top speed and then Max threw down his Flintstones frenos, his feet. He got off his bici and then stood on his llanta. He looks thrilled eh?

Oh, but like a volcano about to erupt...

Here comes the eruption of excitement!!

Señor Serio at the CP alberca.

But once the foto shoot is over and he is allowed to jump into the agua, his sonrisa reappears!!

With 3 or 4 breaths, he can swim the length of the alberca underwater. How old do you have to be to learn how to scuba? Hmmmm?

And some misc fotos leftover on the Canon.

The inside of a 20 year old Nissan. No money for a new one...run it till it dies.

What is this branch doing? A-marking a bache? B-marking a parking spot for a comedor economico? or C-marking a break in an underground water line?

C-a leak in a water line. Fonatur is pretty quick at those types of repairs...maybe a day or so. Check back on lunes.

Some pre-alberca play time.

Another hard day at the oficina for Max y madre!!

Ok, off to get the lil'dude to fall asleep.

Mañana? Mojon fotos and race domingo. Hello!!

Have a great domingo y hasta mañana.

Marco, Bexico y Max
