Remember the great news from ayer? Bex's back was on the mend? Going from a 0 out of 7, up to a 3.5?
Today started GREAT as well. I was up at 3am with a wide awake Max...huh? But we slept on and off in the otra recamara and at 7am'ish, went in to check on madre.
She had a great sleep and was ready for the morning shift, so I was going to zzzz and then when I woke up...off to el gimnasio. Life was returning back to normal!!
Well, when I woke up at 930am'ish...madre's back had gone from the 3.5/4 out of 7...back to a 1. Huh...back to a 1?
So the day's plans were rearranged and at 1015pm, I am officially giving my kudos to all you single parents out there!!! Wow...long day.
Loved all the time spent with the lil'hombre...he is hilarious. Try watching him climb up and down and all around the bed as he tries to burn off some pre-bed energy. You will only laugh and smile...no point being inpatient...he is only a lil'guy.
But still a long day...lots of rocking...my back is pooped.
Madre's back is back to a 2 out of 7 and we hope some more meds and a good night sleep gets her to a 3 out of 7. The trip to Istmos is postponed as all hands are needed here.
Max and I drove to Tony's work and Carlos had not told him about the cancelled plans. Huh? Any way, Tony being the great hombre, asked if I wanted him to come over to help with Max and maybe bring some comida...food. What a great guy.
I told him we are all good, but he insists on stopping by to say hola anyway.
To add to a long day...Max now has at least 2 top teeth coming in. So he is in some discomfort, but that sure hasn't stopped him from eating. Wow...the lil'machine is an empty pit.
So, no el gimnasio and only a walk, Che and pool time con mi hijo.
Tonight I spent some time researching flights for Bex y Max and may have found a pretty good deal. Return from Huatulco to DF is about $200 mas o menos and I found a $400 one way direct from DF to TO and a $550 with one stop, from TO to DF.
The return trip leaves at 11am, one 2 hour layover for Max to stretch his legs and then into DF at 7pm. The familia will spend one night in the airport hotel and then home on Dec 24....just in time for Max's 2nd Navidad!!
Ok...off to sleep. No fotos...no time.
No race this weekend...more time in the alberca con mi familia!!
