Does that look like a lil’hombre that was up in the middle of the night, muy unhappy, so much so that madre had to take him out and rock him to sleep in the otra recamara?

The same lil’napper who took only 2 naps (yes, long chest naps) today and was having NO part of his scheduled 430pm nap?

Well yes, that is the same niño and at 715pm, he is already being tanked up as he hit the emotional wall at 630pm or so. No nap at 430pm meant we knew he would get to bed early, we just missed our prediction by 30 minutes or so.

The household is pooped today and we are going to regroup and see if there is anything we are missing as to why Max has these rough sleeps lately, and now today is adamant against napping.

Could be development curve or his teeth or one of may other possible reasons…all depends which book or article you read. Stay tuned.

On days like today, I should have taken notes. Walking zombies forget too much.

I do remember la cena…only an hour ago! It was super pizza on Bex’s home made crust!! Her first go at it and she has a winner….waaaay better then the crust we have been buying here.

Max had his own pizza and we continue to have great success feeding him at the same time we are eating.

I know there was a FT with Max’s Victoria abuleos. Always good to see them and they love seeing all the changes in the lil’guy. Hopefully mi tío recovers soon…broke a toe while visiting mi hermano…doph.

Max and I had our morning rutina, but it was a slooooow start for padre, so the walk came in the post-nap session.

Max tid-bitt (heex4)…he prefers to poop in clean panales. You can tell that story at his wedding!! Ja ja ja

We are hearing more niño words out of him and a few less top of lung screams letting us know he is still here. The newest face he makes is The Hulk. He tries to pull something apart and makes the same Hulk face.

Not sure where that comes from…kinda fun but freaky at the same time.

I don’t recall taking a siesta today, but did have a good walk to el gimnasio and saw mi amigo Ghimbeli. He now works a few hours a day at mi gym and a few hours at the rico gim, where he teaches martial arts.

Nice Italian-Mexican…slightly loco. Talking about Italianos…there are quite a few of them here and they all have restaurantes o cafés in the same section of town. One of our fave lunch stops is owned by Max, the Italiano and it is neat to go in there like I did the other day (grabbing a rollo canela), and hearing everyone speak Italian. Ciao bellas.

Despues de gim it was home in time to help feed Max his comida and then try to get him to take the non-existent nap. Doph. No point fighting it, so I changed him into swim gear and we all had our alberca time.

And now you are caught up.

Mojon? Meeting with Roman on viernes as the engineers are behind schedule. Doph.

755pm UPDATE

Max’s ojos are slightly open and he is rolling them around. Doph. Stay asleep…stay asleep…stay asleep!! 5 minutes until the News…which I watched at 10pm last night!!!

Fotos?

From our morning walk.

Another $20 pesos for the education fund!!

WFSITBOTT?

Unloading straw sombreros y purses.

Looking east up calle Carrizal. A few verdura crates used to close the calle for some installation of electrical lines to the condos next to us.

This is the calle right outside our gates. Our bakery is on the derecha side, a few tiendas down.

And some panoramic shots from the walk to el gimnasio.

Blvd Chahue and calle Carrizal. Click on them to see bigger size.

We had quite the storm during the early morning. Rain, wind y lightning.

That arbol produces these nuts/seeds that are the size of a melon...not mi amigo Melon.

El gimnasio to the left, the canal and the montaña.

The calle to the left leads back to Carrizal and the building in the front is one of the tiangus...mercados...that sells clothes, shoes and home hardware items.

The parque with the comedors. Nice green spaces here...Mexico is not all desert y cactus.

And last but not least…Max antes alberca time.

Nice attire mi hijo!!

Top score for effort. He is STILL trying to get behind the cushion.

And here are some of the many expressions we get from the lil'joy of our lives.

Mañana? After a GREAT sleep…our normal rutina!! Fingers crossed.

Hasta mañana.

Marco, Bexico y Max
