For our American readers, Feliz día de 4 de julio!!
Yikes…what a night. We
were all pooped today, but the lil’hombre had it worse due to his dientes. That
is no way to celebrate your 8th mes!!
So tonight, he is doped up
on Tylenol and is lights out. We also picked up some of this product.
This is the tube para
bebes and when he needs some teeth relief, we will see how well it works.
He was up several times
during the night, but he is asleep. Eyes closed but he is not happy and madre
comes to the rescue with the leche. But this happened many times and then he
was up at it again at 615am.
He was not hungry, but
still asleep’ish, so off to the spare room where we slept on and off. We tanked
him up at 7am and then started the day rutina, which included eating some of
madre’s oh so yummy cereal bars.
Yes we had our walk and
said hola to a ton of peeps, even at that hour.
We managed a chest nap and
then madre and I tagged off and she took over Max time.
Me? Hello siesta!! Follow
that with el gimnasio, Fonatur, Nissan and then Che.
Great workout and I ended
up buying 2 raffle tickets from Hector. The prize is a laptop and the $$ is
going to his iglesia…or is it going to the new President of Mexico? Ja ja ja
Carlos is all well and
still didn’t tell me why Tony cannot make it to Istmos. I asked if Carlos
wanted to wait until Tony could join us, but he looked a little disappointed
that maybe I did not want to go with just him.
So I said sure, lets go
and it is done. Still not sure what time we are leaving, but we are back on
domingo by 5 or 6pm. Actividades? The rio, the cascadas and his padre’s rancho.
Throw in some chelas and it is a full 23 hour stay.
Che…good thing we bought
all the cheddar we did…they are now out. And what happened to all the Duncan
Hines brownie mixes? Gone as well. Just as well as I am sure the ones we ate
did not help us stay thin!! Ja ja ja
And what did we have for
dinner? A little taste from home…
How come Manwich ends up
in Huatulco Mexico…I don’t know. But you know I bought a few cans!!
The meat department was
low on everything, so I might have to be creative with our cena para mañana.
Hello pizza!!
Hustled home to find the
familia heading to the alberca, so I quickly joined them and here are some
alberca fotos.
Pssst...did you hear the joke about the Oh Henry in the pool?
Oh padre...you are muy tonto.
Oh Henry...kinda gross padre.
Max had a good time in the
pool, but just hasn’t been his normal happy self and the pre-dinner rutina was
not as smooth as usual.
Max y madre had one last
nap and when they sat down for la cena, Max was just not happy. Madre held him
while I ate and then I slinged up and took him for a walk, grabbing the Kanka
on the way.
Nice to walk around
730pm…we agreed we will push Max’s bedtime by 30-45 minutes, once a week, and
squeeze in a walk between clean up and tina time.
We came home and the tina
was set up and ready to go and with the Tylenol kicking in, he was a happy
camper and like I said, is lights out.
We keep an extra eye on
him if we have given him any meds that can make him drowsy (third time in 8
months)…just to make sure.
The rest of the fotos.
8am and this hombre was selling sillas made from pino.
810am and these hombres are weeding the zocalo by hand.
830am and Amy is slacking already!!
Misc
I went to the one true
lighting store we have here, the same place Bexico picked up our fan light
cover. The hombre is super friendly and knowledgeable and we spent some time
talking about different options for lighting the different areas of Mojon.
Roman had asked me to look
at some lights for the stairwells etc, found them but also saw some nicer items
too. Stay tuned.
Ok, I think you are up to
date.
Mañana…no sé…stay tuned.
Maybe I will start working on the FM3’s for Bex and myself as they need to be
renewed in September. Doph.
Hasta mañana.
1015pm UPDATE
Marco, Bexico y Max
