Buenos noches.

Where to start the update….hmmmm.

I will start with some sad news that I received. It came from mi amiga in Denmark, via a mutual amiga in Victoria BC.

It seems that a hombre we all knew back in the 80’s, passed away due to a motorcycle accident in Cabo San Lucas Mexico.

I knew Dennis from my McDonald’s days and while saddened to hear about his passing, was intrigued that he had settled down in Mexico, just as we have.

As a matter of fact, the first trip Dennis took to Mexico was with me. We went to Mazatlan, stayed at the Playa Maz and had more then our share of Pacificos.

We hadn’t been in contact for many years, but hearing about someone you know passing away, makes you stop and think about life.

Onto our day.

You know Max likes the clean panale? His new trick is to wait until we have filled his tina, then he gets up on his tipee toes, smiles at you, gives you a wink, and leaves you a present in the water.

Huh? Three days in a row? But the good news is that the baño is right next to where we give him his bath, so Max has now used the bowl for the first time in his young life!! Oh Max!!

850pm and the lil’hombre is asleep. Phew. He had a late nap…330pm to 5pm on someone’s chest…so after the night rutina and the tank up, he was not ready for lights out.

So what to do? You let him walk around the bed, doing handstands, somersaults, touching the wall, rolling around and smiling the whole time.

Then you wait for any sign that he is tiring, pounce on him, give him his soother and rock him. Then you cradle him to ensure he is asleep and not playing tricks with you, and then you lay him down.

Easy eh? Ja ja ja

Hey Max, how much do you enjoy napping or going to bed?

And how was last night’s sleep? Max slept quite a few hours, was up a few times and vs our sábado morning…we slept in. Well, if 645am is sleeping in…ja ja ja

We had a good morning…full rutina including some mopping.

The mop has left the floor...our hijo is fuerte...strong!!

It is all about focus.

As well, Max had his breakfast, which he wolfed down, had some play time, a good walk to the campo de futbol, some alberca time and of course, a nap.

Play time fotos.

Here is a panoramic of the campo. Click on it to see a bigger size.

And at media día…the race!!

Race? What race?

Oh, that race!!

It was a good race and a few hours later, it was back to Max time…hello to another chest nap. I did not expect a 90 minuter…and I am NOT complaining. But it did throw us behind schedule for alberca time and the start of la cena.

Oh well…the sacrifices we make. Ja ja ja

Oh yeah, we also snuck in a nice FT with a large group of peeps at mis padres casa. Max lucked out…or did the familia luck out by seeing him? Any way, the 4 Larsons were there, on the way up Island for their vacation. And mi madre y padre and 2 of his hermanos were there also.

Max put on a show and it was enjoyed by all.

Hey Max...wanna show the familia your 2 diente?

Anyone know why Max has started making these faces? It started 2 days ago and he does it often...and in his sleep!!

That pretty much wraps up our domingo. I have a little bitt (hee hee hee) more work on the Mojon plans and then I need to send the list off to Roman. We were going to meet mañana, but it will now be martes as this familia is on a road trip mañana. Pochutla and it’s grande tiangus, and then Puerto.

Some more fotos?

Have a great lunes.

Marco, Bexico y Max
