Feliz viernes de 13!!
Oooooo.
It was a jinxed día…there
is no doubt about it.
Max, thus his padres, had
a rough night of sleep or lack there of. Ugh.
He was upset many
times…all while he was sleeping…and that meant we were awake, even though madre
does most of the soothing.
At 445am I took him to the
otra recamara and there we had off and on success with some chest napping.
That lasted until 715am
and we were up to start the rutina. Now, the rutina does not happen very fast
after a night like that, so by the time we had finished desayunos, it was nap
time.
Madre took over after we
woke up and she had the walk and the pool time with him.
Me? I hit the sack for a
few hours of much needed zzzz.
By the time I got up, they
were headed down for another nap so I puttered around. By the time the nap was over and
knowing I had a 4pm reunion con Roman, plans for el gimnasio were scrapped.
So Max and I hit up Che
and madre got her siesta on!!
First stop antes to Che,
Elektra to measure some potential stoves and fridges so Roman and team can add
them to the CAD drawings.
No big scores at Che,
unless you include Gatorade y Fibre bars para madre. Max saw a few peeps he
knew, said hola and adios to them.
Funny story…madre y Max
were at Jesic Toys and they saw some joven unpacking boxes and the such. One
came up to them and madre thought he was going to pass, when he grabbed Max’s
pies and said “hola Max”.
Madre had never met the
young hombre before, but obviously it was another of Max’s many fans.
Back to the day.
I came home and dropped
off the lil’hombre…time for his comida and then a nap. I got ready to meet Roman and headed out.
A good Mojon meeting…glad
we do these in person as there have been so many little changes to the
drawings, that if you do not see the plans in person, you don’t catch what they
have missed, or changed when they were not supposed to.
So, we are VERY close to a
final design and by lunes, we need to sign off on the last set of plans, so the
team can continue on the detail costing.
Probably have that in our
hands in 3 weeks, as all 3 of us, Sergio, Roman y yo, agree that “mañana”
doesn’t cut it. Under promise and over deliver is the goal.
Timing? If we like the
prices we see, we can break ground in probably 4-6 meses as we need to wait for
all the permits. Build without the permits and the cash grab…ooops, penalties,
are huge.
Another 5-6 meses for the
build and we could be living at Mojon by agosto 2013 or earlier. Stay tuned.
Mid way through our
meeting, who strolls up? Mi familia was out for a walk and it was great to see
them both!!
I finished up the meeting
and raced home to start la cena. Madre y Max were having the second alberca
session and when they came upstairs, we started the night rutina.
10pm and Max has needed
one extra “session”, but is currently asleep.
Mañana? Sleep in sábado?
Stay tuned.
No foto viernes…hope to
make up for it over el fin de semana.
Hasta mañana.
Marco, Bexico y Max
