Wow…we did it!! 730pm and Max is being tanked up and then we will see how long to get him to fall asleep.

Last night was the craziest night yet. He had 3 or 4 goes with madre y padre before he fell asleep and stayed asleep. Then once we were all asleep, he was twitching most of the night and had one sueño malo...bad dream.

Madre comforted him and got a snug out of the deal!! I looked over during the night and there the 2 of them were, all cozy looking.

At 630am he let us know he was still around, received a tank up and was borderline awake. Into rapid response mode and I rocked him for 5 minutes and got him to fall back asleep.

No snug but an hour plus chest nap!!

What a difference waking up at 815am vs 530am!!

Max and I did our rutina and he wolfed back his desayunos and since we were back on the 2 hour windows for naps, we had plenty of time for our walk.

Max had his sunglasses on today…it has been tough as he no longer loves them like he once did, and he now knows how to take them off.

But he had them on as we walked by the parque with the friendly drunks in it.

Yup…this is 830am.

And our new amigos are giving Max the thumbs up for his lentes!!

Good walk, hola to our amigo the parrot, who has been missing for a few days.

Came home and we had a short nap before we hit the pool. No unintentional dunkings today and madre joined us in the sombra.

We are very aware of el sol as Max is slowly getting darker and darker, with nice white “bracelets” on his arms due to the lil’eater having some pudgy arms!!

And talking about bracelets and farmer tans...

So Bex uses the sombrilla when she goes out, and Max and I use a hat and walk in the sombra, shade.

It looks like in late diciembre, Max y madre will be heading to the Great White North for her hermanos wedding…Max will be the lil’guy with the tan.

Quite the feat to get the two of them there as first off it is 3 days antes Navidad, y neither of them have anything but Huatulco clothes!!

But her sisters and the rest of the family will come through and make sure they are well taken care of. Brrrrrr.

After the pool, I hit el gimnasio and had a great workout. Saw a bunch of peeps during the walk, always nice to say hola to your amigos.

No centro stroll, there is always mañana, so headed home to see what the familia was up to.

Max had finished his comida and was headed down for another nap, so I puttered around and when the lil’napper was awake, off we all went to the alberca.

The lil’Olympic swimmer had a blast and loves it when we put the patio chair into the pool. Clouded over around 4pm so it was perfect weather and a nice cool down for all of us.

As for cooling down, Max is like his padre…we run hot. I am always warm and he is too. No blankets at night, and what ever you do, don’t cover our feet!!

835pm UPDATE

A little stirring and he has done one lap of the bed in his sleep…but knock on wood…so far so great!!

Great steaks para la cena…Bex’s pizza mañana y Bubba’s spicy meatballs on jueves. Max LOVES ground beef, chicken y steak...meat eater like his padres!!

Fotos…I found some great keepers on the other camera. Great shots taken by madre!!

First off, the rest of the fotos from the walk.

Tons of motos here. This hombre sells newspapers off of his, using the megaphone to spread the word.

Mexico in a foto. Agave plants, a moto, a niña with no helmet and padre pulled over for a cell call.

And from madre.

These are from the trip to the parque near mi gimnasio.

Hmmmm...camera case?

Yup...camera case.

Hey Oma, thanks for the great beach quilt!!

Left over right, through the loop....

Ta da...Fisherman's Knot undone!! Get me a Rubik's Cube!!

Hmmm...twig or strap from mochila...knapsack?

Both!! Couldn't pass up the opportunity.

That wasn't a twig? It was a bug?

And these are some fotos from the alberca.

If I remember correctly, here we are discussing the need to sleep at night and try to sleep in until at least 7am.

7am...really padre?

That was NOT what it looked like. It was actually the face he makes right before he starts blowing raspberries. But it does look VERY close to his sad face.

On a different day...off for a walk.

This is the friendly senora we wrote about. This is her 18 month old hija.

Just my type...

A senorita with cabello moreno...brown hair. Ouch.

PG...Pudgy Grumps.

Here is the real love of my life!!

Mañana? I have not heard from Roman…we will probably meet jueves. So the rest of the día will be our regular rutina.

Hasta mañana.

Marco, Bexico y Max
