Buenos tardes amigos!!

5pm and we are trying to figure out what Max is asking for. Nap? Check. Clean pañale? Check. Comida? Check. Teether? Check. Maybe he needs a hug!! Stay tuned…30 minutes until Jeopardy!! We’ll take “What does Max want?” for the Daily Double please Alex!!

Ok, let’s breeze through the day and get to the fotos!!

Madre is ill…tiene gripe. And with Max only nibbling on his dinner last night, he was up twice in the night to fill his tanque…and empty Bexico’s!! So that added to her being exhausted.

So…Bubba y Max were up at 630am and other then one interruption to look at some funky poo, and one for some eats, we managed to get Bexico zzzzz time until 130pm!!

She still is not well, but we have all the products and she also had one of Gallos famous chicken sopa for a late lunch, and is going to have another one for her dinner.

So what did Max y pare do for the day? Hello!!

First things first…must bundle up for the 630am chills!!

Then we hung out for a while, talked about snowboarding vs skiing. And next thing you know…nap time!!

After the nap, we started our walk, with the first stop being the hospital.

Not many fotos from the walk as it was hottttt, and I was working on keeping Max out of the sun!!

Fresh verdura delivery day and someone has brought their bici to pick up some cebollas.

The hombre de globos was trying to get Max hooked on a balloon. Hello? Maybe if they were lap tops!!

At the hospital we talked to the hombre that deals with vacunas and he said, sí…come back lunes. So we will come back Monday.

Then off to schmooze with the Fonatur peeps…ok, I paid the water bill and Max schmoozed.

And 5 minutes further down Blvd Chahue…Super Che for some Halls and Vicks for madre, as well as some AJ y OJ. All to help her get over this gripe!!

Saw a few amigos there, Amber (Cdn) and her novio Erik (Mexican)…big surfer…chorty hombre.

No big “scores” and grabbed a taxi home. Note….there seems to be a Coca Light shortage in town…oh oh. No worries…found 2 litros at Oxxo!!

Home with the groceries and hello…time for another nap!! Max was hot and that meant sleep was not an issue.

And after that nap? Hello Baby Einstein time.

Great gift from hermana de Bex, Liz. Gracias!!

We followed up this with our second walk of the day. It is mucho calor…so off to find the DC that Che did not have in stock. We also pit stopped for some more plátanos and checked on the sopa for madre.

Doph…the restaurante was closed until 2pm so headed home and Max had his 3rd nap.

This took 2 minutes and as you can see...IN his cuna, sin soother y swaddle blanket!! But not sin Pudge!!

Too hot for him maybe? Or not enough leche? I did give him a bottle and he only drank 1 oz or so. We are being VERY careful with the new heat y humido…gotta keep an eye on the lil’hombre as he was already a lil’furnace when he was born. And now add some more heat?

In this sense, he is like his padre…hates the sheets. Where as Bexico is all about loading on the sheets and yes…sometimes a blanket!!

Bex was up by this time and took over Max duty. I went down the calle to grab the sopa and while waiting, chatted up Carlos/Charlie, the amigo who installed our satellite.

Quite the interesting hombre. He bought his condo next door, 22 years ago for some $10,000 US. Every day from 7-9am he teaches geology at the high school and last year he travelled to Prague y Paris. And during the down time, he installs Dish systems in 40,0 grado heat!!

Bex loved her sopa and then the two of them had some quality time.

Funny one madre!! Buen chiste!!

And then we decided now was the time. Here are the “first time with rice cereal” fotos.

I'm ready for the foto padre...are you?

Success...which was quickly followed by the chez lounge.

Oh Max...cabbage?

Followed quickly by padre grabbing some nube/sol (cloud and sun) at the alberca…and a power nap too!!

Max grabbed another nap and then he became Dr Jekyll!! Again, with not knowing what he wanted…tried all we knew how, so we started the 6pm rutina early (he loves his bath) and at 625pm, the two of them are working on getting him fed and asleep. Good luck madre!!

Suffice it to say…no playa/Mojon today. Maybe mañana. Big race on domingo…maybe we squeeze the playa in then.

FYI…there is a time change in most (all?) of Canada on Sunday. Our part of Mexico will not be changing for another 2 weeks, on April 1. So after Saturday and for 2 weeks, we will be only one hour ahead of Vancouver and 2 hours behind Kitchener Waterloo.

Buen fin de semana.

Marco, Bexico y Max
