Buenos tardes.
Great news from Apple eh? They are releasing iPad1 in Mexico next week!! ja ja ja
630pm and the “rutina” is
in full swing. Our clean lil’hombre is being fed some leche and then will
hopefully be off to zzzzz.
Me? Stepping out to USB
some fotos to Daniel. He asked for a favor and it is the least we can do for
him after all the favors he has done for us.
The fotos?
He has a client who wants
a silver pendant in the form of a bull, and Daniel wants to send a bunch of
fotos to ensure the example meets the client’s expectations.
I will also follow up with
him as he had called our pediatra to follow up on the results from Max’s poo
poo lab results. Stay tuned.
So how was the night for
the congested one? Max slept on and off until 11pm or so and then he had
troubles breathing while sleeping on his back. Our solution? Prop me up in the
corner of the second bedroom and then Place Max in my lap, sitting up.
Worked like a charm and we
both fell asleep for a short while. When he awoke, the lil’furnace needed to
lose the swaddle blanket and I flipped him around so he was on my chest, and
then he slept until 2am.
He needed some bevies at
2am…must keep up the fluids when your niño tiene gripe!! So we work up madre,
passed the baton and next thing I know, it is 7am and my turn for the
lil’hombre.
He was wide awake and
playing with madre. Well, he was playing and madre was trying to get him to
nap.
Tagged off and Bex hit the
hay and just as I was about to help Max zzz…he faked a case of the hiccups!!
Nah, they were real. So out of the cuna and then we just hung out and chatted
about quantum physics while waiting for the hiccups to pass.
And as soon as they
did…hello nap time. A good 35 minute nap and after looking at these pictures,
you tell me. Does he look like a happy niño with a cold?
Check out them pj bottoms!! Hey Kennedy, does the design look familiar?
No dipping the feet in the
pool today, but we did go down and hang out for a while. And then like clock
work…”feed me please padre”.
Upstairs to wake up Bex
and we had another swap meet!!
And after not making it to
el gimnasio ayer, I was itching to go today. And thanks to the great partner…I
find the time to make it happen.
But first, 30 minutes on the phone with Telmex. A smart tech on the other side, but not smart enough to solve the problem. By resetting the modem, we changed IP addresses a few times and then she would try the IP address from her computers, and to no avail.
At least now we have an incident/report number and the Mexican promise of the issue being resolved with 72 hours. ja ja ja
So...if you are a bill collector or process server (you know who you are), hang tight and we will get back to you asap. Mi familia...feel free to call the Mexican hot line if you need us.
Fotos from the walk.
Progress on the palapa next door.
Very common to see the poles lashed together in this manner.
Who knew you could win this much at the "ring toss"?
Another transfer of pescado.
Ceramics R Us
Tortas, tacos y tlayudas.
Ever been late to a parade? I now have been...
Had a good session at el
gimnasio, and happy to see Jhahnet y Galdino parted on good terms…Jhahnet was
there being trained by the hombre.
Walked through centro and
was asked by this hombre “where’s the lil’dude in the glasses?”. The hombre
happens to be the smoking neighbor from downstairs…we just had never met.
Scott and his wife are
Canadians and are spending there time here, working on building houses in an
eco friendly way.
We chatted it up and they
asked if we hear their TV (no) and if they hear Max (no). I did mention the
smoke and they were surprised as they never open their windows. Ja ja ja
I mentioned it had
happened a few times and they pointed the finger at their cleaning lady, but
made note of it and will keep an eye on the windows!!
30 minutes later…off to
see the gang at Gabriels. Tranquilo at 3pm and Daniel chatted up our pediatra
who asked that he call back. When I went to drop off the USB at 630pm, the
place was swarming with tourists from the all-inclusive resorts in Tangolunda.
Daniel thanked me for the
USB and told me he had tried Dr Rios dos veces mas, but no answer. Doph. Oh
well…mañana!!
After chatting up the
boys, pit stop at Santa Cruz abarrotes and grabbed some Hot Wing spice for
pollo de esta noche…and found some Mil Isla…phew!!
Home to find Max had
finished his 3rd nap and was just waking up. I hit the alberca for
some sol and a dip, and Max y Bex set up the quilt in the grass and had some
play time.
One more nap for Max (and
I…ja ja ja) and then it was set up time for Jeopardy (I’ll take Internet
Connections for $500 please Alex) and the 6pm rutina.
And you are caught up.
915pm, we watched some
Global news and currently Bexico is out at the internet café (but they don’t
serve food or beverages) checking in on work emails.
Mañana? Maybe the playa!!
A few fotos from Max’s
last alberca session.
The abuelos gather when Master Max enters the pool!!
Have a great jueves.
Marco, Bexico y Max
