Buenos noches!!
745pm and lucky you…going
to keep the words to a minimum. Watching the news, pollo is cooking, Bex is
taking a shower and Max is zzzz.
The vacunas screwed up his
night…the lil’hombre was WIDE awake at 530am. And 430am-530am was spent with me
holding his hand and him snoozing for 10 minutes, waking up and then falling
asleep again. Doph.
So madre took one for the
team and when I got up at 8am, the two of them were asleep in the other room.
When Max woke up, I took
charge and let madre get some well deserved sleep. First course of
action…pañale change. And then right out the door for a long walk around
centro.
Our walk fotos.
Never seen the carpinteros in this section of town.
The road comes down from where many of the locals live.
Miau.
Slow day…only a dozen
peeps said hola to Max. ja ja ja We cannot wait to have mis padres take the
lil’hombre out and about and meet his otra familia…the peeps of La Crucecita!!
Back to hang around the
alberca…which has been reopened!! Soaked some pies and then it was nap time
again…Max not mine!!
And then as mid day rolled
around…lunch time and time for Bex to wake up!!
We all left the casa
together, but the route quickly changed as it was hottttt out there.
Here is Bex y Max heading
up Blvd Chahue…headed to Jesica’s Plasticos where they picked up a nice play
mat for Max. One of those thick rubber ones, that goes together like a puzzle.
I hit the gym…hola to
Jhahnet and then off to centro.
Daniel has clarified this
foto.
He tells me that the hours
posted are not for the hospital (phew), but for when you can go in and apply
for Seguro Popular, which is medical coverage for low income Mexicans.
Here are the rest of the
gym walk fotos.
Remember when the Coyote, while trying to get the Roadrunner, he leaves a trail of gun powder?
Someone was leaking azucar.
Miau.
M.I.A....naaah, the senora was gabbing lunch at the comedor.
This town is not lacking color.
Or hard working peeps!!
And under the banner of "more firsts"...
That hombre was carrying Incuboxes, labeled "pollitos de Oaxaca". What are pollitos? Chicks. There were 20 chicks in each box, maybe 2 or 3 days old. Why is he selling them? Daniel says they are sold to niños as mascotas...and later on...used as part of la cena. Who knew?
Looking down Bugambilia. The white camioneta in the middle is a truck used to deliver windows, glass, mirrors etc. Today it had no less then 6 peeps sitting in the middle and 4 standing on each side of the A frame. Doph.
Headed home…alberca time
and Max seemed to be tentative today. Might be because it has been a week since
his last splash? Had another familia arrive, Moe’s kids and their niño who was
born in November 2010.
Max splashed around and
then we called it a day and gave him one last nap.
6pm rutina went off
without a hitch, but we did have trouble getting him to sleep. Might have been
too hot…so we turned on the a/c and he has been lights out for the last hora.
910pm…Bex headed to the
oficina and I am keeping an ear open for Max and an eye on the TV.
Mañana…no daytime plans
but we are meeting Rick & Heidi at 5pm for some bevies, the transfer of
Bex’s Fibre 1 bars (American made version) and have a catch up.
Last foto of the day.
Senor Max lounging at the
pool after our morning walk around el centro.
Have a great miercoles.
Marco, Bex y Max
