Buenos noches Canucks fans!! Game two starts in 30 minutes and we will be streaming this on line. Our amigos from Senor Pucks told us that they had a full house for the last game… 1/2 Canuck fans and believe it or not, ½ of Hawks fans. We may work our way down there later in the series or just wait for the Finals!!

Our day…tranqilo but fun at the same time.

Bexico is fighting allergies…who knew you could have allergies in Mexico?

While she fought allergies, I went to the gym. Rosa was not there and in her place was Berlin who regularily works out at the gym. Berlin talks very fast and has little patience for my lack of español, but I managed to figure out that Rosa had to bolt to Mexico City (or near DF) as her hija had trouble with her appendix.

What is the #1 sign that you need to practice your español and learn more? When you meet Berlin’s 5 year old hijo and cannot understand anything he says!!! Ja ja ja

I did manage to get his name and how old he is. Then he told me he spoke no ingles, but we both counted to 10 in English. He was amazed that I did not speak español, but was thrilled when we counted to 20 together in Spanish.

Great workout and here are the fotos from my walk.

WFSITBOTT?

This camion was delivering bikes and piezas de la bici to the local shop.

Party bus Huatulco style.

This is one of many tourist buses for rides around La Crucecita. There is a party bus too...it is loaded with music, disco lights and a fog machine!!

Just a hombre out for a skate.

Now this is a good business plan.

A turismo bus and everyone is eating helado…ice cream. I bet this guy makes waaaaay more $$ then the guy selling bricks…or these items.

Day 6…new record.

And just like a hockey crazed fan in Vancouver might dress up….

This hombre has a full on Cruz Azul soccer uniform!!

Peeps from a turismo bus.

They are loading up at the market before reboarding the bus.

Mangos

And a deserted carretilla, wheelbarrow.

School is out for two weeks.

This hombre had his hijo on one side and a bucket of pescado on the other.

This roadside spot is a boat refinishing business.

Pasado semana, the guys completely rebuilt and refinished a bigger fishing boat.

Back to the tourists…

These peeps got off a bus and were headed to one of many economy hotels in the industrial section of town.

You know it is the start of vacation season for Mexican as you see so many more of them in town and many of them are very well dressed, as if they truly are on vacation.

Stopped off and chatted up the boys at the store. Compliments of Daniel, the name of this fruit is rambutan.

And compliments of Wikipedia, here is a link to some info on the fruit.

I came home to find Bexico homemaker has already worked out AND cleaned the condo. Garcias mi novia!!

We hit the hot tub/alberca (ja ja ja) and had some nice chats with peeps who have no one left to talk with…ja ja ja. But they were truly nice peeps. They are all headed back to Canada next week, but were actually interested in sharing things about their lives…AND listening to our stories.

Bill y his female partner (of 33 years) had some great stories of Pochutla, where we will be on lunes. Hoping to find the “medicine mans” tienda when we are there!!

Had a great float, the 4pm clouds rolled in and out, and yours truly actually has a bit (heex3) of a sunburn!!

We then did a quick walk, meaning only to get some veggies y mil isla dressing, but with some very hard arm twisting, we stopped to get Bexico another cóctel de camarón.

Carlos is the owner/operator and he was happy to see us again. He likes to practice his ingles with us and is happy to share the fact that the name of one of his hijas is Rebecca.

Here is the name of Carlo’s 4 meter x 6 meter restaurante.

The rest of the fotos from the walk.

For gato negros blog.

Esta noche, she came up for some more leche.

Here are two posters.

The first one talks about all the religious services happening over the next week, ending with Easter on domingo.

The second poster is all about the big fishing derby that will be happening. Seems both posters are getting some good attention!! Ja ja ja.

And the last foto.

Just a bird in front of the veggie store. A carro drove by just as I snapped the shutter and it turned out kinda neat.

La cena? Cerdo con papas for me and Bexico stuck with the pollo y verdura..veggies.

Mañana…el gimnasio and maybe Mojon. Maybe we pass on Nascar domingo and go to Mojon then?

Misc

Checked the amex bill and we did get the Che credit for the roto fan...phew.

Canucks up 1-0 near the end of the primer período!!!

Buen fin de semana!!
