Welcome to no foto domingo. Mucho siento…pero we did not go anywhere that was photogenic!!
We started our day with a desayunos cooked by Bexico!! Pancake domingo con tocino here in La Crucecita!!
Then we spent some time using the Canon T1i to film a sample for a possible contract para Bexico. Tripod, lighting, white background and using the movie function on the camera which is new to both of us.
We figured out the technical aspects and on the way to Sr Pucks, we picked up some large papel blanco to use as a background.
Clock change happened and we “knew” the race started at 3pm EST, so we had some time before we left for Pucks. That meant alberca time!! And there was no one in or around the pool so we truly relaxed.
It looks like most of the condo owners have packed up and left for the season, and that seems to be true for the condos above Sr Pucks as well.
We got to Pucks around 230pm and I am not sure what went wrong…but the race was half over? Ahhhh…the race started at 1pm EST…media dia here in Huatulco. Doph.
Oh well. We saw Lanny (very brief hola) and spent some time chatting up Randy y Karen, the managers of the restaurante. They are winding down from the high season, the bar in the pool will close in a month and they have decided to not open the restaurante during the day.
That and they will head back to Canada for a few weeks of well earned vacation.
The eagerly anticipated coconut shrimp was very good but the caesar salad was just not as good as usual. Karen y Randy are aware there is an issue…we think the lettuce needs to be spun and take a second look at the dressing.
We left Pucks with a 70 laps to go in the race…pit stop at Che for some ooooooh so good vanilla icing.
Great end to the race…congrats to KH two weeks in a row.
We managed to film a great sample using the blanco papel and Bexico will send it off mañana.
With the time change and the days being longer anyway, the days are hotter longer and the pool is in sunshine longer as well.
So…off we went…alberca tiempo round 2.
La cena was ensalads and hamburguesas!! And it is now tiempo para postres…dessert!!
Mañana…tareas, clase, Lanny and el gimnasio. Maybe we will get an email from the dos hombres we met at Mojon?
