Buenos noches.

10pm…we are headed for our “dip” and then will come back and complete the blog.

Congrats to Matt Kenseth for tonite’s NASCAR win.

Oh oh….1-0 Calgary vs Nucks…only 2nd period though.

It was 30 degrees at 10am and it is 30 degrees at 10pm as we head for our dip!! In between…we hit 35 in the shade.

Waiting for Bexico to finish an email…the day started with pan frances and then it was off to el gimnasio.

Off to pool. Back in 15.

We are not alone with these late night dips. A Mexican hombre was chillin and we acknowledged the “secreto” and then said hasta mañana when we left. There was one condo owner patrolling the alberca when we left…I am not sure how long this late night cooling down will be able to be continued. Stay tuned.

Oh oh…2-0 Calgary. Sis, maybe you should have taken the bet? Ja ja ja

Fotos and due to the overwhelming response to gato negro…she may start her own blog. Meanwhile, here is a foto expose of the big flirt.

All this while I was on the way to the gym and all to try and get more leche!!

Misc foto from jueves.

This small room is where we attend our clase de español.

Back to hoy, this hombre was selling hammocks.

And look what is back two days in a row.

Three hours after that foto was taken, I took this one by the zocalo.

Same products but a different hombre. I wonder if they are a family, or if the hombres are working on commission.

On the wooden shelf theme, I saw this hombre lugging a shelf.

And then 20 minutes later I saw these two hombres lugging identical shelves.

This looks like a madre y hija…

Selling some sandia in the parque.

And here is a cute nino.

WFSITBOTT?

Sandia, cantaloupe y pina. They even had a tape recorded message blaring out of the loudspeaker, that was advertising their goods.

Yeu…aka Memo, chilling at the front of the gym.

With the disappearance of Ghimbeli, Yeu is now working 5.5 days a week. He wants to be an artist…hopefully this gym role is just a pit stop for him.

On the way home, walked through town and saw these senoritas.

They work for Papalopan, one of the better meat stores in town. I did not stop but it looked to me like they were giving out samples.

After talking with the boys, I found out that they were not giving out samples, but were in fact offering to BBQ your meat for you, prior to you going home.

¿Porque? Not many people have BBQs here so if you want asado…they are offering you the service.

Back to the gym…muy tranquilo…no one but me and Memo. That meant that I was his only source of amusement. Marcos, how do you say “10 reps left”…is left “egual” to izquierda…as in left handed etc? Marcos, what does “boring” mean? Marcos, how are you at numbers in español? Etc. All good because in regards to talking with me, he has been a very patient 18 year old and I have appreciated it.

Despues de gimnasio I did the walk, said hola to the boys and came home.

We tried to film the 3rd sample but we are struggling with what shows up in the frame, as well as with lighting. We gave up after 30 plus minutos and have rearranged the dining room so we can give it a go mañana.

No filming? Alberca time!! Super chilled and then the ninos started arriving. Bexico played a game of Marco Polo with them and I got ready for Che.

Big run at Che…I don’t think I saw another non-Mexican in the store. They are all gone home!! Loaded up our goods…super cheap helado de Oreo cookie and my yogurt was back in stock after 3 weeks!!

Cooked chili para mañana as I will not feel like it mañana after spending the day at Mojon.

The race was on…bad streaming today…oh well. When we build at Mojon…hello satellite TV!!

La cena was fresh pico de gallo on our super yummy quesadillas de pollo!!

Folks…that is the update.

Chat with you mañana when we tell you about the chili, Mojon and the comeback the Canucks staged!!

saludos

UPDATE
