Buenos noches. Es sábado por la noche…Saturday night 9pm and we are watching Kill Bill volume 1.

Canucks are down 1-0 to Edmonton of all teams…but it is only the end of the first…primero…period.

A typical sábado for us…el gimnasio then Mojon.

El gimnasio was a-ok…not too hot as I was in early, but the place was packed!! Rosa was looking forward to the weekend and gave me a link to a website with super cheap flights to/from Huatulco to DF (Mexico City is known as Distrito Federal…DF). No need for a flight right now, but always good to know.

Just for your browsing pleasure, her is the link to Viva Aerobus.

And here are today’s fotos.

A joven nina working hard.

I may think she is too young to be manning the mango basket, but that is how things are done here…everyone contributes.

The shelving hombres are back.

And here is my Fonatur amigo Daniel thinking “why do I have to clean up after them?”.

Yikes…3-0 Edmonton.

A turismo bus stopped at the mercado.

The words on the windshield do not translate well. I have it saying “Under said God”. No sé. But under the windshield is the ever present Virgen de Guadalupe.

And the last foto of the day comes from the new comedor I introduced in a blog a few days ago.

They are still busy and have added fresh squeezed jugo de naranje for the brunch menu. The big pot to the left of the foto is where they slow boil the pollo y cerdo.

Despues el gimnasio, came home and we hit the road. Nice to be a bit (hee x3) earlier then usual and the fact that we were recognized and waved through Copalita (in both directions), helped.

Canucks have scored…3-1 in the 2nd period.

¡Dios mio! The cake we just had was good…not good for us. And mañana…vanilla icing to be added. Cardio mucho come lunes!!

Anyways…

VERY relaxing time at Mojon. Un buen viento meant it was not too hot…but we have sombre with our palapa and a hammock to boot…so we are all good anyways.

Found a few good shells and rode a few good waves. The rest of the time was spent reading and sitting bajo el sol.

But Mojon being Mojon, the excitement didn’t end there.

A taxi drove by our lot, heading out of Mojon. It came to a stop and dos hombres came out and came down to talk to us.

Now I feel pretty good about the conversation, but the fact still remains that after 15 minutes of talking, I am not 100% sure what they wanted. Ja ja ja

What do I think we talked about? In no particular order…

- he has a palapa on a property at Mojon
- he knew Kevin the Brit who built the first house at Mojon
- according to him all the properties in line with ours, are in the FZ
- the rest of the properties are communal
- we need two pieces of paper…the constancia y the escritura
- he acknowledged something about the where the papers are filed in Santa Maria something (it starts with an X)
- we were talking negocio…business (what kind…no sé)
- he "knows" by sight Roman and his brother in law Carlos

I got his nombre (name) and gave him our email address and we will see what he has to offer. This is just another reason I need to see Lanny and the topographic hombre, Antonio, próximo semana.

I will also touch base with Roman once I have found out what the hombre was referring to.

Not worried…but as I have stated in the past…there is always ONE more thing when it comes to Mojon. Jumping through all these hoops will only make it more satisfying when it all comes together!! (And more valuable if we ever did sell)

Left around 5pm and realized it will be hot and sunny until 6pm after tonight’s time change. Must remember…clocks go avante uno hora esta noche!!

We stopped at Che…and used our Che card!! We are not sure why, but last time we shopped, we received a gift card worth 10% of our purchases…$61 pesos or roughly $5 Cdn.

We have cut back our burger consumption from 2 (each) in one sitting, to only one. So that means hoy was hamburguesa sábado and mañana it will be hamburguesa domingo…despues the NASCAR race at Sr Pucks of course!!

As for Bexico…she is is going to conduct a test run mañana…and if the filming works as it needs to, and the transferring of the HD film goes smoothly, she may have another contract!!! Fingers crossed.

Felicidades Bexico!!

You are all up to date. Have a great domingo!!!

Saludos

Marcos y Bexico

Even the best team in the NHL has to lose once in a while. Oh well…congrats to Edmonton….did it have to be to the worst team in the league though? Ja ja ja
