Lil'man on his AM prowl, day dreaming about his next familia pool time.

Buenos tardes!! Currently 5pm and I can tell you that so far, we have had a great day...with one bit of wackiness. Keep reading!!

Up before the roosters, and there was no trying to get the lil'man back to sleep. So at 5am it was leche y video time. What type of videos does the lil'guy watch? I don't know as I am slumbering next to him.

Naaaah...he has the tractor video (real tractors), one animated video about shapes and then of course my favorito (because it is 20 minutes long...but with 3 commercial breaks that need my attention), Winnie the Pooh and the Great Honey Pot Robbery.

Max might have seen it too many times, as he starts to tell you what is coming up, including the traumatic scene where Winnie gets his head stuck in a honey pot.

Post videos, off for some Lego time in the Palace and you know it is an early prowl when you are already on the prowl and the watch goes beep beep beep...signalling Max it is time to get ready for the prowl.

Good prowl, but with it being a 1030am'ish siesta, as well as a Che día, we were home by 815am.

Great score on the pasas in the rollo de canela, and the lil'vulture got his fill.

A good breakfast and then off we went. Want a challenge? Take your 2 year old niño, who has been up since 5am and is going on 4.5 hours of awake time, to Che and try and keep up. And keep things on the shelf and out of your cart. And try to ensure all the meat products do not have little finger holes poked through the plastic wrap.

I LOVE taking him there because he enjoys it so much and because it amazes peeps to see him prowling the aisles. I wouldn't change a thing...except give me 2 extra ojos y manos!! Our bagger is now at Sorianas, but the niños there always do a great job of helping keep Max busy while I unload the cart and pay the tab. Gracias!!

Cheddar cheese was back in stock, and I also noticed some items are quite a bit cheaper at Sorianas, so we loaded up on cheese for next week's quesadillas y huevos con queso (one of Max's favoritos) and we did not buy his leche, deciding to wait until Soriana martes.

We made it home in one piece and Max headed upstairs with his madre for leche y siesta time. And then the wackiness occurred.

He was lights out as he was pooped, but less then an hour later, he was awake and upset. I tried my best for 20 minutos, but The Niño Whisperer had no success. Time to call in the support team and Bex took over. Me? Off to the otra recamara where I promptly fell asleep for 90 minutos or so.

Wacky dreams when you smell the smoke from the pollo asado wafting into the bedroom!! Ja ja ja

Bex tried her best with the lil'man, and was almost there...but no luck on getting him back to sleep. A 45 minute siesta...red alert!! Good news? Madre spent the afternoon with Max and they had a great time. Big kudos to my partners!!

He was fine during dinner, started losing it during clean up, but we got him into the tina asap and we nursed him through tina time and onto bed time. Phew. Thank goodness for JibJab videos!! Ja ja ja

Bex thinks she found out why he did not want to go back to sleep, and she found out as soon as they left the bedroom and got into the Party Palace. Let's just say it was massive, and we move on. lol

Post panale pit stop, it was comida time and then they were off on the bici. First stop was the playa, then the Club and then back to the playa to meet up with a niña for playa date. Bex says they were in the Chahue alberca and Max was about to jump into the pool and had an audience of peeps that looked like they did not believe he would jump in.

And did he ever put on a show. Very dramatic...so much so that he was given a round of applause!!

They came home in time for pollo muslo viernes, that I had cooked up post el gimnasio.

Good dinner and I can report that bed time was a breeze. He was exhausted, but it still took 55 minutes to get him into the cuna, lights out. He loves to blabber and is now singing a little too. I love when he does his numbers, uno, dos, quatro, cinco, seis, ocho, diez!! Ok, maybe he misses a few, but he is trying!!

Bex had 30 minutos and all I do is lay next to him, holding his manos, and then he finally gives up the ghost and is lights out. Plopped into the cuna with Pudge and ta-da!!

Onto the fotos.

Hormiga patrol by the alberca.

Max uses the hoja very wisely.

Hmmm? Wet, slicked back hair? And a wet playera? What happened here lil'Max?

Moments before...a little pool deck lay down.

Followed by the head dip. Oh Max!!

Have bolsa, will prowl.

Searching for more craisins.

He loves his pasas!!

Pit stop into the back of the fruta y verdura camion. Here, he is inspecting the troops y produce.

This hombre is getting the complete look over.

Chelas...or maybe too much Cola? The guys were great with Max, enjoying having the lil'man watching them, and they caught me off guard by knowing Max's name and that we were from Canada.

Max made them howl with his "chelas y Corona" rutina.

Here, the Mayor takes a pit stop on one of his many perches.

Lots to see from here as on one corner is the mall, the bus stop behind him, Dr Simi on another corner, and the taxi stand on the last corner.

Time to stretch it out before heading off to the panificadora for our pan.

Ok, that's it amigos. The weekend is here...mañana looks like a Mojon day...followed by NFL domingo!!

Buen fin de semana.

Marco, Bexico y Max
