Were you looking for me?

Buenos noches!! Round one of bed time is under way, time to jot down some notes before The Whisperer goes in to close the show.

We just finished tina time, and before that we were on a muy raro night time familia prowl!! With trying to stick to Max's rutina, getting out after dinner has been almost non-existent.

We needed a new plug for the floor ventilador, and la cena was finished early enough, so after a quick clean up of the Maxwich covered niño, off we went.

It was just to the ferreteria and back, but we all enjoyed it and when Max did not want to be carried by his madre, he led the way.

As for the rest of the day...awake at 530am and due to that and the fact it was Sorianas martes, no familia swim was planned.

Tranquilo time followed by a short but fun prowl, desayunos and then onto Sorianas. The tienda was deserted...not good for business. The meat department is already looking 1/2 empty...doph.

I think they might have mis-judged the types of peeps that live here in Huatulco. Maybe, and that is a big maybe, 5 months of the year the meat department will do well with all the tourists who come to stay. But the rest of the year...too expensive for most peeps. Oh well.

Max held on and after being awake for 5 hours, it was leche time and then a nice and long siesta. Poppa got in on some of that action and was relieved of his sleep duty at 115pm so I could get ready for el gimnasio.

My afternoon was all about the gym, some errands, casa clean up, changing parts from a dead fan onto the fan with a broken plastic piece, and then cooking la cena.

The familia had their post siesta comida, a swim in the CP alberca and then were off to the twins palace.

We met up in time for leche and 15 minutes later, it was time for oh so yummy, imported from the USA, Manwich. Not sure how long this product has been around (1969 according to Google), but I remember eating this when I was a niño....and I still enjoy it.

And then the prowl.

Just back from bed time...not the quickest, but after 35 minutos, Max was lights out. I had sung a few verses of Gilligans and then told him today's Harry Hormiga story, when I felt he was almost asleep and I plopped him into his cuna.

It took 5 minutes to set the room up and was just about to turn on his night light, when from within the darkness I hear "Poppa...manos". Oh, the lil'man loves his manos!!

So after 15 minutes of manos, which included 2 attempts at leaving him asleep, he was finally out. No complaints, as I think I have been lucky enough to put him to sleep almost every night in the past year or so!!

Currently 845pm and as the News is on, Bex works in the oficina and Max is lights out. Onto the fotos!!

A little tentative on his prowl con mochila, but waking up at 530am will do that to you.

But all was well after observing the tranquilo effect of the sprinklers.

Jungle prowl.

It took a week...but I know what max is now doing with the bushes.

Yes, he is picking the berries, but today I finally heard what he has been saying as he delivers them into my hands. He is saying "plums", which he gets from his Seuss book "

Playera on? Check. Cheerios, galletas y pasas? Check. Listo!!

Hmmm...rake.

I sure hope they have a lot of water meters when we do our prowls in Vancouver!!

Hey Max......

Thank you for returning so I could take some fotos. Max is spelling out Sorianas...or at least he thinks he is.

Just another of the many amigas we encounter on the prowl.

As spotted in a restaurante.

And then flashed by one of Max's Gas Oaxaca amigos.

All home made...this is where I picked up our BBQ, like the chico one in the background.

Misc

Click HERE to read a fun little article CNN wrote about Canada.

We received our Old Navy package via our amigas from Alberta. Mixed news due to the fact that the 3T items seem little small on the lil'big'guy. His fleece doesn't zip up all the way...argh. But it will do for Vancouver and we are going to buy him a snow jacket for our time in Whistler.

Sad news for the amigas when they arrived here in Huatulco yesterday, as they found out that there was a death in their familia, and have returned to Alberta after only one day. They hope to return in a week or so, and our thoughts are with them.

Ok, mañana is time for the big BBQ at Mojon!! The plan is to leave at around 230pm and then be eating burgers by 530pm. Clean up and home by 7pm so we can keep Max on tina time and bed time schedule. Wish us luck and stay tuned.

Have a great miercoles...pan frances miercoles as Max knows it by.

Hasta mañana.

Marco, Bexico y Max
