Might as well start the update with my favorite foto of the day!!
And next off...a huge Felicidades to Bexico who is celebrating a few anniversaries today!! Bubba is proud of you!!
Buenos tardes!! 3pm and with the NFL on the tube, Bubba has his feet up and in 10 more minutes, the timer will beep, I will get off my butt, go to the freezer and grab a frost cold MGD!! Score.
The familia finished their comida and have headed out on an overcast afternoon...off to the playa on the bici.
A great day so far...short and sweet? A waaaaaaaay early wake up, but with the new rutina and 20 minutes later, the boys were asleep and did not wake up again until 645am. Score again!!
Usual rutina, tranquilo time, prowl, huge desayunos and due to the later wake up, hola hola to a familia swim.
I cut my swim short to assist some Canadian peeps who had a 8 year old son with an ear infection. We met at the gates and I took them to the doctor at Simi and then helped them get the medicinas. I remember when we first came here and had to go to the clinic...it would have been nice to go with someone, so it was just the right thing to do.
I came home and shortly after that, Bex popped out of the recamara and Max was already in siesta land.
I got in on that action and after almost 2 hours, the boys were up. Max was set up for an early afternoon dance party and then off to eat his comida and that is the day so far.
What's that? Beeeeeeep. Gotta go!!
Ahhhhhh...that was refreshing. All refreshed...time for the fotos.

As we were nearing the local panificadora, it was closed, but all of a sudden the baker arrives and starts rolling up the security gate. That was the sound that caught Max's attention as we were already on our way to the otra panificadora for our pan.

It was domingo, so we made our pit stop at the big house, and when Max saw this niño, he went and stood next to him and then promptly said "foto". And then he went tonto on us.
That's all so far. Off to clean up, watch some more futbol and then off to cook some rib eyes para la cena.

Buenos noches. Round one of bed time is under way...we had a successful evening!! It sounds like Bex y Max had a great time at playa Santa Cruz!! The playa was packed with vacationers and all the non-swimming Chilangos from DF were in awe of the lil'niño swimming in del mar, the ocean.
They did some prowling on the way home, scoping out the lil'fair that has been set up. It opens at 6pm'ish, so we might venture out next week with the lil'man.
Home for leche and then Max sat in his highchair as his Poppa cooked la cena and explained (and showed) everything that I was doing.
Good steaks and some left over lomo...I am stuffed.
Some tranquilo time in the Palace, off to tina time y a FT con Max's otra abuelos, RJ y Rolly, and then off to bed.
And that was our domingo.
Mañana is the big day!! We are going to explain to Max all about why we have the arbol de Navidad and what role Santa plays in all of this. I am not sure how he will take it, but if he goes crazy on the 24th as we wait for Christmas, I am good with that!!
Not sure of our plans for the week. Normally we have been headed to Mojon on miercoles, but that is also Christmas day, so we will see what we feel like doing.
