With concern on his face, Max checks below and spots the weather forecast for Toronto.

Sunday morning...-12,0 grados but will feel like -20,0 grados? That is only 61,0 grados less then that it will feel like here on Sunday afternoon.

But hey, as you can see from our forecast, we too have our issues. The possibility of 1mm of agua. Yikes.

Buenos tardes!! Currently 430pm and I can tell you we had NO agua...only blue skies!!

As the familia is out and about, Bubba is catching up on the PVR'd football game. Safe to say it looks like Seattle will win this game...and maybe head back to New Jersey in 7 weeks for the Superbowl?

A good day...full of wackiness that started at 455am. Yikes. There is NO rhyme or reason to why Max is getting up so early. We get him to bed and sleep by 730pm, 745pm, 8pm or 815pm...and he is up early. And every now and then he treats us with the 6am sleep in.

But we move on as all of you have heard this broken record before...and we are not hating, just stating. Look at it this way...the lil'niño has such a fun life, he does not want to miss a single minute of it!! Ja ja ja

No familia swim planned due to the early wake up, so after tranquilo time, it was off for a long, uneventful prowl. Uneventful except for a few fire ant bites Poppa received while we were looking at the gallos y gallinas. Ouch!!

Home for another huge desayunos and then after some tranquilo time, off for leche y siesta. It was a good siesta and Max popped straight up when he was done sleeping, looked at his Poppa and then started laughing.

And then he flicked on his fiestiness switch, and the lil'angel switched personalities. We were getting ready for a post siesta familia swim, and Max did not want to put on his swim gear, but really wanted to go to the alberca. Next thing I know, the toys are being slammed down and that is a big no-no for us.

Time for some tears and a time out. Argh.

But he settled down, finally put on his rash guard, and we went to the pool for some boogie board surfing and lots of swimming. Great to see him dunking his own head under the water!!

Comida was a challenge...I am trying to block that part of the day out...and then madre put on a brave face and off they went. Phew...buen suerte madre!!

I had the tranquilo afternoon...did some wash, kept an ojo on the game and did a little book keeping.

The chuletas de cerdo are in the oven, hoping the new marinade works in the oven as well as it did in the fry pan. Stay tuned.

About to get the condo ready for the PM rutina la cena, but first, the fotos.

Max waving hola to a few hombres in the Policia Municipal compound.

They did not see him....doph.

Hilarious...Max is mimicking this hombre as he walks away.

And now it is time to wave hola hola to the taxistas as they drive by.

On the pool deck at a hotel we prowl.

If you see these hombres out selling the mats...

You know the "mothership" is around.

The hombres were muy amable, friendly, and muy curio about Max. Some of them spoke español, and some of them, only Zapotec.

Max on more "bug" patrol.

Where was he while the fire ants were biting my pie, feet?

Outside the iglesia, we came upon this 4 year old niño...who was giving Max the suspicious ojo.

Max looking for some direction from his Poppa on how to break the ice.

My advice was to tell a joke.

It seemed to go over well.

It was the ol'dos caballo y gato chiste.

Having no luck finding el gato, Max did find some amigas. I think the senora in the background is related to the peeps that sell items in the zocalo. Any way, out of her familia, she has always been the friendliest to us, and today we met her hijas.

Oh Max was muy tonto, silly, with these ladies!!

And then heading home, Max did not want to hold my hand and cross the calle to get in the sombra, shade. So I crossed and watched him from behind a parked truck.

Without missing his Poppa, he strolled along until he came upon a tienda, and then chatted up an otra amiga.

As he went into the tienda, to touch everything I am sure, I went across, scooped him up, said gracias y adios and we went home for our desayunos.

Ok, off to cook....hasta pronto.

Buenos noches!!

Wow...did Poppa screw up that bedtime!! I went in at 730pm and left at 915pm...yikes. Max and I were both asleep (hee hee hee) by 745pm, but when I woke up around 830pm and tried to move him into his cuna, I bumped the cuna, it made noise and Max woke up.

Then I tried to soothe him in the bed, but realized he had al;ready sweated through one shirt. Air con on, and he sweats through a shirt...yikes.

I changed him and then did manage to soothe him on the bed, before moving him into the cuna, where he promptly became upset. Back onto the bed, soothe and back into the cuna.

This time I was ready and lay down next to the cuna and held his hands. This calmed him down and after 15 minutes, I tried to leave. He looks at me, says "manos" and here we go again. Are you getting the idea?

Great snugs, and if I had not bumped the cuna, all would have been great. The night is almost gone...adios News y futbol....doph. Oh well.

You are all caught up. Have a great week y hasta mañana.

Marco, Bexico y Max
