Max, I too was shocked to find out it was 6am when we woke up today!! Much gracias...un milagro...miracle!!

And due to el sol returning, and the late wake up...hola hola to familia swim...a cold one, but a fun one!!

Great prowl with the highlight being Max walking up to 10 Policia Estatal, giving them knuckles and then pulling out my Inmigracion ID, and showing it to them. They were all friendly and patient as Max said hola to all, and then went around a second time!!

Huge desayunos again, with Max having his instant oatmeal with a healthy happening of canela, cinnamon.

Tranquilo time and then frosty pool time, and Max did NOT want to leave!! But after a little protest, he was out of the pool and wrapped in his toalla.

We have had huge success with Max's night time rutina, and tonight was another great example. But we are not where we want to be with siesta time. Max does not want to nap and even though he is tired, maybe exhausted, he will not allow himself to fall asleep.

Bex has been the siesta trooper, and post leche, she puts on her armor and after lassoing the lil'tornado, she rocks him for a few minutes...and of course he falls asleep.

But we have also lost out on the solid 2 hour siesta, and it is now interrupted after an hour, when he wakes up upset. Today I rocked him for 5 minutes and put him back down, but he woke up upset again. More rocking and this time the boys slept for an hour, with the lil (not so much) man in my arms.

We think his brain is working overtime, as he is dreaming a lot, and maybe this is causing him to have the bad siesta. That and he does not want to miss a minute of his fun day!! Suggestions?

Post siesta it was comida time and then I was off to el gimnasio and the familia had a prowl and then were off to a Palace.

Post gym, I was off to Sorianas for some huevos, grabbed a toy car for Max and also a flashlight for our NYE at Mojon.

Happy to report the taxi protest has been dismantled, but I could not tell by reading the periodico whether it was done by the Transito or by the politicos. Either way, it is down and next week we will take the camioneta. Mañana...Che viernes!!

Home to get my sweat on as I re-installed Max's car seat cover in the 100 degree camioneta, and then upstairs to get the condo set up for the PM rutina and some oh so yummy cena...chuletas de cerdo in a new marinade!! They passed the Bex y Max taste test...and are now officially in the menu rotation.

Great dinner, some JibJab time in the Palace, and then off to tina time y FT con Oma y Opa.

Bed time wasn't quick...due to some Max hiccups, but for the first time ever, he managed to fall asleep himself while having the hiccups. Score!!

Currently 920pm and Bex is hard at work, Max is lights out and Bubba has the tube on while typing away.

Onto the fotos!!

To start the prowl, a top of head shot.

Followed by the sticky fingers eating uva y ciruela pasas, grape and prune raisins.

Manos sucio says Max.

Prune!!

What...no galletas?

Chewy little guys.

You tell me what you think Max is hoping for...cruela o uva pasa?

Prowlin on the way to the correo poste, post office.

Pit stop.

Hormiga spotting.

No issue...keep eating.

Hola nice gato.

Let me pat you sauve style.

And that was the last foto of that gato...as it took a swipe and nip at Max, sending him into a traumatic state. It took 5 minutes of talking to el gato, having it rub up next to me (and also swipe at me), before Max was ok.

We chatted up the fact that not all gatos are friendly, and thus we always need to be cuidado y suave.

Funny gato story? Max saw his first Chiuahaa and kept calling it a gato. We bumped into the owner and he thought it was hilarious!!

Funny sign...

It ends with "we are not pigs".

Misc

Funnest part of Bex's prowl around centro con Max? He was on a ride outside Oxxo and Max saw an hombre heading into Oxxo. Bex thinks Max might have known him as one of his Coca Cola amigos.

As he passes by, Max asks the man for pesos, for his ride. And to Bex's amazement, he pulls out not one $5 peso coin, but two, and then heads into Oxxo. Max was not in the thanking mood, but Bex made sure he knew the two of them were grateful. Another example of the friendly peeps we meet and know!!

Ok, you are all caught up.

Che viernes and it might be Mojon sábado...stay tuned.

Hasta mañana.

Marco, Bexico y Max
