Buenos tardes and welcome to el primero de diciembre!! First off...felicidades y feliz cumpleaños to Max's abuela, RJ!! Happy birthday!!

Currently 3pm and it is muy tranquilo here in town. There is a taxi protest occurring and all the rutas into and out of Huatulco are blocked...that would make this one quiet ghost town!!!

So, there is only one thing to do...familia swim and then Poppa heads upstairs for NFL domingo!! I have the game on PVR...Patriots defence not looking too good...doph.

How has the day been so far? The usual early morning, but happy that Max slept straight through the night uninterrupted and in his cuna.

The boys had their usual AM rutina, and due to the early wake up we started with a long prowl and what a fun prowl it was!! Examples of what happens as the Mayor makes his rounds in the morning?

We came upon Max's super skinny pot smoking futbolista amigo, and he always says hola and Max always wants to give him "knuckles".

Today he gives Max $2 pesos (and this guy is not rico) and tells him to go listen to the hombre y familia playing the accordion, and then give the familia the propina.

Up the calle we see the familia and sure enough, the Poppa is playing the accordion while the madre y niña sit on the stoop. Max listens, does some dancing, makes everyone smile, and then drops the pesos into the vaso, cup.

We round the last corner before home, and a 6 year old niño comes up and without saying a word, the 2 boys are now kicking a futbol back and forth. And the best part, the niño is making sure Max is getting the ball kicked right to him and at a good speed.

And then just as we are about to enter the CP grounds, we poke our cabezas into a little restaurante/comedor economico to say hola hola to Max's amigas. Max says hola, points to the grill and says "peligro, calor", is given some quesillo and then says gracias...and off we go.

Just a small sample of what occurs when the Mayor goes for his prowl!!

Post prowl...home for a huge Max desayunos and then some tranquilo time. Off to the recamara for books, leche and then siesta. Poppa joined in and after some web browsing...he too was lights out!!

At 1230pm, a set of ojos were starring at me, but that would have only been a 90 minuto siesta, so I lasso'd the lil'man and after some la'la'la'ing, as well as a small rock...lights out!!

And the next thing we knew...it was 145pm!! Now that was almost 3 hours...the lil'man obviously needed the sleep!!

Out of bed for some comida and then onto the alberca. The familia stayed for a few more laps and have come upstairs, changed and are back out the door. I heard a whisper whisper of Sorianas...more decorations for the arbol de navidad?

More futbol for Bubba and when the familia returns at 5pm, they will set up the tree!!

Onto the fotos.

Like a helicopter's landing pad, this has become Max's launching pad. When business is on the way, we spend quite a bit of time here.

The expression says it all.

Followed by a little hiding in the bushes.

But there was no connection on this call, so it was time to go prowl...and eat some Cheerios.

The bici series of fotos.

Checking out who is working at the guards gate.

Knuckles with his amigo Marcos.

I was mistaken, the places with the green curtains are Herbalife, not Omnilife. Here Max is taking another peek.

Success...Max actually posed for this foto!!

The "darn paparazzi" look.

But it is his Poppa who is the paparazzi...taking a selfie!!

Muy curio niño...the otro niños didn't know what to make of the lil'man.

I am not sure what he sees or feels, but not all people are "people", and here he approaches 2 hombres to check out what they are doing with all the limons.

A parada of 4x4 motos. No sé porque.

Ok, off to watch futbol and putter around. Back at you later tonight.

Hasta pronto.

Buenos noches. Round one of bed time is under way after a successful treat decorating and lighting, la cena, FT con Oma y Opa and tina time.

Not much else to report for our día....except the weather numbers from last month!!

In noviembre, we had average lows of 26,3 grados, compared with 25,6 last year. Our average highs of 32,4 grados were slightly higher then 2012's 32,0 grados. As for agua, we had one incident of lluvia and that was on 2 de noviembre and last year we had one incident on el primero de noviembre!!

What can we expect for diciembre? Last year we had average lows of 24,5 grados...brrrr...and highs of 31,4. We also had 2 light showers during the complete mes....muy seco, dry.

Have a great noche y mañana...feliz cumpleaños to mi amigo Melon!!

Hasta mañana.

Marco, Bexico y Max
