Buenos noches!!
With Max’s sleep, it is 2
steps forward and 1 step back. Last night he slept until 430am or so and then
needed a tank up. He is hot and thirsty so we give him some leche de vaca.
He normally falls back
asleep, but with madre this early morning, he was not having any of it. Madre
tried all the tricks in the book, but after a late night in the oficina, she
was pooped and came in to wake up the Niño Whisperer.
Now I have been awoken at
6am before, but I was confused about Max not sleeping since 430am. He must be
pooped and there is only one thing to do to get him back to sleep. Hola to the
Bubba Van chest nap!!
And what do we know? The
next thing it is 815am!!
But you know what happens
when we are late to rise? Wacky desayunos and wacky nap time.
Max had the smorgasbord for
desayunos. Cheerios, piña, banana, salmon y molida res. Hey, at least he ate it
all!!
And after a long morning
walk, how was the first siesta? Long!! But when that happens, our schedule is
now going to change and that it did. Waking up around 1pm will do that to you!!
It was going to be a Mojon
day, but with the drive there and back, it would not fit into the afternoon and
the siesta plan.
So off to La Bocana, the
mouth of the Rio Copalita. Only 15 minutes away and not “home” like Mojon, but
still fun.
Madre had us all set up
again, so we loaded up the camioneta and off we went.
We had lots of fun and
when Max’s nap time approached, we held our breath and waited to see if he
would fall asleep. Ahhhhh….nope.
So we packed up and
decided we would for go the 2nd siesta and stop for papas frances
instead!!
Then it was home for a
quick rinse off at the pool and then Max y madre did a veggie run while padre
started the quesadillas and getting ready for the PM rutina.
Great dinner and with Max
running on fumes, we rushed the tina time and managed to get the lil’guy into
his bedroom quickly.
But our lil’guy turns into
el’diablo if he does not have his naps and tonight was no different. He REALLY
wanted to go outside, but we managed to distract him from that and madre
leche’d him up and when I went in at 745pm to take over, they were both
asleep!!
Madre deserved another 30
minutes and is now hard at work in her oficina and I figure I have a few more
minutes before Max wakes up for the first time tonight.
Fotos?
Time to bust a groove!! Check out Max's admirer.
Yes, this is the arbol de Navidad. Max is measuring it's circumference.
Ah, ah...
Look who found the secreto entrance.
The hombre that drives this car, often parks it at the zocalo and has music blaring from it.
Today was no different and when the hombre got out of his car, he said "hola Max" and asked him to dance...to which Max obliged!!
From La Bocano.
Max and his first coco.
Mañana…el gimnasio and we
will see what else comes our way. I need to check email and see if Roman
managed to get the drawings to the costing hombre. Stay tuned.
Buen fin de semana.
