Hola mis amigos.
9pm and Bex has just
scored some more work from a past client, one based in Australia. Max is asleep
and padre watched the news and now has a 1969 Simon and Garfunkel documentary
on the tube.
The día? Another blur…I
remember waking up and taking over Max duty and all of a sudden it is 9pm?
Yikes.
We had a great AM rutina!!
Max ate all his desayunos…very chilled about it.
And after breakfast we had
a super fun walk. It was longer then normal and of course it included some
dance fever!!
Here is Max at the front
of a small comedor.
Ayer (yesterday) they had the music
blaring and Max stopped to cut some moves. The 2 abuelas only saw me at first,
and wondered what the white guy was doing, but broke into smiles when they saw
Max dancing.
Today, the music was low
and did not much of a beat to it. Max does a little dance and the abuela
pointed Max out to an hombre that worked/lived there.
He goes into the kitchen,
changes the music and comes out to see Max dance!! I thanked him a few times,
as it was super friendly for him to do that.
After a good dance, off
for our kiosko y zocalo time. There, Max made only one niño cry…a good day!!
Naaaah, he normally does not make kids cry.
But today he met a one
year old, about ¾ Max’s size, and they were all groovy until Max came in for a
head tap and then proceeded to jab the niño in the cheeks.
Oh the niño let it be
known he was not happy and I proceeded to say lo siento to the madre y abuela.
They were cool and said the niño was tired anyway…phew!!
Next thing I remember…an
almost 2 hour nap and that means we awoke around ohhhhh 1245pm!! Half the day
is gone…but obviously we both needed the male bonding time!!
Madre took over and after
lunch, we all headed out.
Max met a new amigo, uno cachorro, a puppy.
Max LOVES animales!!
Just giving the lil'guy a lift!!
I hit the gym and the
familia hit the tiangus for a little stall browsing.
And when I came home?
Laaaaaate nap and the familia wasn’t up until almost 445pm…doph. All good as
after the snack break, madre y Max went for a walk and the amor de casa set us
up for the PM rutina.
Mas pollo muslo con
arroz…yummy. Good rutina but were cut off during the FT con Max’s abuelos…lo
siento!!
And that was our día…in a
nutshell.
Misc
Heard back from Roman and
the boys are going to get started on the revamped plans later this week. We
should be able to review them next week…maybe as early as lunes. But as this is
Mexico…probably later in the week.
Only 15 days until the
familia goes norte for a quick hola to Max’s Ontario familia. Today I booked
the hotel room at the DF aeropuerto, so they are all set. All that is left is
madre y Max to have two successful flights, and to be able to relax once they
are in Ontario.
Kudos to Bex as she is
getting herself all prepared for keeping Max all happy on the flights to and
from Toronto. Toys, fotos and the likes, so she and Max (and the other
passengers) stay happy happy happy!!
Mañana? If Max has a good
first siesta, we will head to Mojon. If the nap is not good, we will stick
around La Crucecita and carry on as usual.
Have a great miercoles!!
Marco, Bexico y Max
