Buenos noches!! Only 2
days left in 2012!!
Favorite part of the day?
Normally it would have been the chest nap, but today I was so excited and
pleased to see Max playing with a group on niños in the kiosko.
We packed a juguete and
good thing we did, as we needed a toy to share.
There were 5 or 6 niños
playing and I plopped Max down next to them and off he went. At first there was
a lot of “mío” o “mía” (means mine) when Max touched their toys, but as soon as
his ultra cool camioneta came out, all was good.
Some madre came over to
take a foto of her niños playing with the red headed niño and we also saw Max’s
much older guardian.
This niño ALWAYS says
hola, gets Max a pelota to kick around and when the lil’niños seem to react
unfriendly to the lil’non español speaking 14 month old lil’guy, this older
niño steps in and smooths things over.
It is very cute and heart
warming. I saw the same boy later in the day and of course he asked where Max
was.
And that was the best part
of my day.
The chest nap was great,
Max eating all of his French toast and fruta was good, el gimnasio was good, meatballs
para la cena were yummy and having all the butchers at Papaloapan say hola to
Max, was cool.
Madre y Max had a great
time at the playa…took the bici to playa Chahue and strolled the playa and had
some alberca time there, before heading home and having a long and late siesta
#2.
All good as padre prepped
la cena and ran some errands while the famila snoozed.
Currently 10pm and Max is
asleep and for maybe the first time ever…he fell asleep on his own in the cuna.
No, that doesn’t mean normally one of us in the cuna with him…doph. Ja ja ja
Madre is working in the
oficina and I am about to call it a day.
Mañana? Off to Mojon and
we are going to do the early day again…antes Max’s first siesta. Just as well
as it is low tide at 1045am and that will give Max lots of playa to walk on.
We are listo for Fin de
Año…we have our plan. La cena at 530pm…Il Regoletto for pizza. Then the PM
rutina and at 930pm, we will take our sleeping lil’guy and load him into the
camioneta.
Off to Mojon for a few
hours of bon fire and then let the fire die out BEFORE media noche (last year
it was blazing away at 2am!!) and then at the stroke of 2013….fuego
artificiales…fireworks!!
Fotos…no mucho…lo siento.
Off to the playa...I love Max's expression.
What do you think this hombre is selling?
Misc…we know a doctor from
DF that has a condo here. He brings his familia here during Navidad y Easter
and they are all super friendly and love seeing Max.
The doctor saw us load up
for Mojon and mentioned he never see peeps using a silla de niños like we have in
the camioneta, and then today when he saw Max on the bici con casco, he made
mention that that is muy raro as well.
What is common sense in
some countries, just isn’t in others. I am sure they love their niños as much
as we love Max, but they either cannot afford such items, or more likely, it
just hasn’t dawned on them why they should invest in them. Makes you think.
Ok…have a great domingo!!
Hasta pronto.
Marco, Bexico y Max
