Buenos tardes!!

4pm and siesta #3, yes #3, is happening as I type. Number 1 occurred on the plane ride from DF to Huatulco and Max and I had #2 after a few hours of being home.

The family is pooped and today we start getting back on schedule for Max as well as our sleep!!

So so sleep and madre took over “Max watch” when he awoke at 415am for a tanque up.

I took over again at 630am when I heard Max chatting it up in his soft voice, and I though Bex could use the extra 30 minutes.

So Max and I prowled the hotel lobby…hola to the arbol de Navidad!!

PJs and a camo sweater!!

And then we went down a few levels to grab Bexico a Starbucks!!

Going to the aeropuerto in DF is like a shopping excursion extraordinaire!!

Crispy Crème, Slubway, McD...7-11!!! etc.

Max and I dropped off the Starbucks and went back down to grab our desayunos…hola to the Desayunos Especial…or as they call it in Canada, The Big Breakfast!!

Max loved the hashbrowns, eggs y sausage….not too hot on the muffin.

We were all packed up and the porter at the hotel took us to the first floor and then hailed us an airport porter who took us right to the Interjet counters.

Short wait there and the porter stuck with us the complete time….phew as we had lots of loot coming back from Canada.

Not sure why, but there is no online checkin for Interjet, thus the long lines up this morning.

Buzzed through security and our sala was right there. Leche’d up the lil’hombre and next thing you know, it was time to go.

Quick flight and Max slept 30 minutos and we were picked up by Tony in Huatulco. I am sure he understand why we wanted the camioneta (the niño silla), but I am also sure he scratches his head as we are one of the VERY few peeps who use a car seat.

For the rest of the day, we spent time unpacking, organizing and just taking care of the lil’guy.

Long list of thank you’s are headed out as the loot for Max is awesome. But my first thank you goes out to Oma for the shortbread cookies!! A little taste of home while in Mexico!!

Good cena and PM rutina with a FT for mis padres who had not seen Max in 4 or 5 días.

Currently 830pm and Bexico is making the ensaladas for mañana after finally being able to get to the fruta y verdura store as it has been PACKED with customers all day long.

Ok, here are a TON of fotos…to make up for the past few dry days.

First off, the trip to DF.

Before Bex came home, I wanted to have the place all spruced up. I washed the seat cover and then dried it. Might have shrunk a little...think anyone will notice?

One huge palapa roof at the aeropuerto.

Small plane to DF.

There were 5 peeps seated behind me....no one in front.

Six foot tall flower plants at T2 in DF.

Uh...a few peeps in line for the caja at Walmart.

The first flight on this screen is an AA flight from Miami, not the same flight number we had the familia booked on...and demorado, which translates to belated.

Ahhhh Bex?

Sorpresa!!!

Winter gear for the lil'guy.

Hygiene is high on Max's list. Ja ja ja

And here are the fotos Bex took while in Ontario.

Brrrrrr.

Bex says that Max did NOT like the frio. But gracias to all the peeps that lent Max some warm clothing and items like a car seat.

I think these next fotos are from tía Penel's casa.

Woof woof.

Madre? You in there?

A few sequins for the wedding?

This is Jemima, Max's prima...cousin.

Who is another of his admirers.

Not caught on film very often...the unhappy Max.

All dressed up at the wedding. And yes, Max has found another arbol de Navidad!!

One of Max's primos.

Uh dude...where's your cabello?

If there is food, you will find Max prowling.

Watch your fingers Max!!

Uh hello? Down here you peeps!!

Madre, if we slip out this door...

Not sure what Max is up to here. Not quite the "head tap".

Surrounded by the primas y una tía.

Bex y Max's abuelos.

Luz...the niño loves luz...lights.

Safe to say that Max's extended family all enjoyed meeting him.

Ah ah, musica...Gangnam style!!

I get the one in the silver, you take the red dress.

Hey sista, lay me some skin.

Mañana? Navidad? Watch as Max rips open his regalo and then if the weather cooperates…off to Mojon.

Feliz Navidad!!

Marco, Bexico y Max
