Buenos tardes!! I feel just like Max...dropping my drawers on life. Por que?
One unhappy Bubba as the
gripe has returned…who gets a cold 3 times in less then 2 months? Oh and
instead of suffering in misery for the first week alone, Max already has a
cough and madre can feel a cold coming on.
No where in any parenting
literature do they mention the whole familia getting gripe and what to do about
breaking the vicious cycle!! Nasty. No energia…except for you know who, and
trying to keep up with Max when you have gripe? Good luck!!!
The lil’guy is a machine
and keeps plugging away. At 5pm, Max y madre are out, probably at Max’s
parque…no slowing down the niño con gripe!!
So if any of you out there
have any suggestions on how to prevent this gripe, please drop us a line. Whom
ever’s suggestion works…a free stay at Casa de Dos Conejos once we are up and
running!!
The día? A bit of a cold
medicine fogged día.
I think we were up at
630am and only had a short walk as padre has the cold and is lethargic y Max is
fighting the cold and was a bit tired as well.
No kiosko today as it was
roped off for the upcoming Día de la Guadalupe and was exhibiting an art
display.
Short nap and madre took
over and padre grabbed another hour of zzzz.
No el gimnasio and it was
a stay around the casa kind of día. We had one familia walk and madre ended up
taking Max for another long walk before la cena. Earlier I spent some time
chasing him around the alberca area….oh he wanted to go swimming!!
Had a nice FT con mi
padres y hermana…nice for everyone to see Max running around and not always in
the tina!! Nice to see Max answer the questions “where are your ears?” and “how
is your belly?” by tugging on an ear and pulling up his shirt to slap his own
belly!!
La cena? Great rib eyes…a
little less tasty with a cold, but they were tender and went well with the over
done oven roasted potatoes. Hey, I like’em crispy…but not that crispy!! Ja ja
ja
Currently 745pm and Bex
has the first shift and if Max’ola is not asleep, send in the Niño Whisperer!!
Misc
Max has now mastered
another palabra, telephono. And when we exit CP for our walks, he will look up
at the roof across the street and mimic the 2 dogs that are always barking.
Instead of ah,ah, we get a wuf wuf sound from him!!
I have translated a travel
letter for Bex to carry with her and we will have Daniel look at it to see if
it makes sense, and then off to search for a Notary and try to explain what we
need.
If they ask, the letter
should be a-ok at Mex City as the familia boards Air Canada for TO. And on the
return trip, Bex will have both the copia en español and one in ingles. Probably
throw in a phone bill to show peeps she is returning home to Mexico, not
going there on a vacation.
OK, fotos.
Hide and seek in the zocalo.
On the familia walk. And where are we headed?
To the farmacia that madre y Max visited ayer. Por que?
To return the loufa that Max shoplifted by tucking it into the sling!! Oh Max!!
The senorita working took it in stride but was probably amazed that we would actually return it!!
Mañana is supposedly a Mojon día…but
it might be a stay at home, take care of Max and get better día. Good day for
football but it sucks to miss out on the playa and the lil’guy will want to be
out of the condo as much as possible…who can blame him?
Have a great domingo…only
17 more days until Navidad!!
Hasta mañana.
Marco, Bexico y Max
