Sorry about ayer…ran out of time y steam. No blog update…but hoy we have a ton of fotos to make up for it!!
No big ah-ha’s over the past two days. Niño is very active and has had a few cases of the hiccups…always at night. Hilarious…maybe not for niño….no room to stretch out and now the hiccups? Ja ja ja
Sábado was all about work for Bexico and after el gimnasio it was tiempo para chelas for yo y mis amigos.
Good group of guys, we added Pablo and his senorita as well as Abram, the refacciones amigo. So a group of 7 or 8 of us at Senor Pucks and it has now become clear…if I want to go for beers with the amigos, I will be buying. They just don’t make enough $$ to even buy one bucket at $100 pesos.
Lots of great chat over cervezas. Brought out the mapa of my route back to Van, talked about culture and told lots of broma…jokes.
The equipo de rapido has no shirts and the jefe will not spring for any $$. I told the boys to collect $40 pesos from each jugador for the next 3 months and when we return in diciembre, I might pay the other ½ of the bill. For $1500 pesos I would get to help pick the colors and name the team. The boys were excited by this and it would be fun.
Funny story? I was at the gate and Ricardo asked when we were returning from Canada. Then he asked how long we were staying in Mexcio, because he wants to invite us to his hija’s 15th birthday fiesta…the big one for a niña!! Cuando? When I asked and his reply? Cuatro años mas…4 more years. Ja ja ja.
Hey…it was the invite that counts!!
B10 update? We have packed away all the belongings of the owners and the condo is ready for a cleaning. We are quite excited to return in diciembre and start the new adventure.
We are also spending some time making sure we have put together a complete shopping list for Vancouver. Need some towel hooks, shower curtains and the such. Hello small town Mexico!! And throw onto the list a new battery for my MacBook. It states that it only has a 77% health and under “energy saver” it states I need to replace it. Adios $150 Cdn!! Did I mention the camioneta will need llanta nuevo soon? (new tires)…ja ja ja
Bexico update? Done with Australia but might have one or two more revisions. Same goes with China and she is plugging along with her third contract. But who knows about next week…she could end up with a few more clients!! We are both excited about the prospect of her new Mac (donations at www.bexico….ja ja ja) and installing the new animation software!!
Had some crazy thunder today and some light showers…alberca time was a mixed bag. Looking forward to those 100% sunny days that started at the end of septiembre last year and will start for us in diciembre!!

This taxi has been at Raphael’s for over a month and it needs a new transmission. The problem? The taxista needs money to pay for the repairs, but needs the taxi to earn that money.
And they did such a good job on the first one, they have a repeat customer.

This hombre goes to local farms, buys the papaya and melons and then parks in front of his other store.
Take a look at the promocion behind him. Tenis shoes for $100 pesos. Mexicoism…unless they are shoes for fútbol…they are called tenis shoes. “Mi gusta su tenis”…heard all around town!! Ja ja ja

And the Gato series? Before we show you the gatos…we must share that we have not seen Gato Blanco y Negro in 3 days. Time for some “¿Has visto a estos gatos?” posters!!
These gatos are from next to el gimnasio...come on...who doesn't love a cute cat?
