Always looking for a nice foto to start the blog update, here I have given you Max looking through the display case inside Oxxo.

Buenos días...and just like that, the patient load has gone from one to two. I was woken up at 4am by Bex who was answering the porcelain phone...yikes.

I took over Max watch and we slept in (hello!!) until 605am. The usual morning for us, videos, tranquilo time, desayunos and then onto the AM prowl.

Max's health? No yak viernes was followed by the good sleep and a pretty good desayunos. He finally had some "business" and all was good until we went for our prowl. I could see right away that he was tired and we decided to keep the walk short.

We did spend 15 minutos on the car rides outside Oxxo, and then I was asked "in arms", meaning he was too tired to walk home.

Bex was still asleep...she really must not have been feeling well, but the lil'man woke her up so he could get his books read to him, as well as have some agua and ginger ale.

We are still holding off on the leche to make sure he will be able to keep it and his food in his tummy.

So...at 1145am, the familia is asleep in the chill room and unless there is un milagro, it looks like Mojon is not in the schedule for today. Ah well...there is always mañana!!

Onto some fotos?

The first pose of the día.

Waaaay too much cafe this morning.

Cheer...

...eeee...

...ooooos.

Max's "chico wave".

Poppa...who was that I just waved to?

Scoping out the local panificadora...looking for mas pan de plátano.

No luck...mas Cheerios!!

Parked outside Oxxo for 15 minutos.

At last...un sonrisa!!

Lil'man tired...time to go home.

Turismo autobus.

And its dos condoctores o choferes.

And from ayer, Max showing off the apron he wears to avoid getting splattered on as he cooks his camarones.

Ok, the familia is still asleep and I will wait and see how Bex is feeling when they wake up. Normally the afternoon is her time to spend with the lil'man...but today Poppa might be taking el coqueto to the playa. Watch out senoritas!!!

I will finish this later. Hasta pronto!!

Buenos noches!! Currently 835pm and all is quiet in the casa!! A good bedtime...phew...and Bex is about to hit the sack and try and sleep off this illness she has.

How was our afternoon? A short siesta and then we geared up and had a familia swim. Post swim, off for comida and then the boys loaded the bici into the camioneta verde and headed off to Santa Cruz and its playa.

Madre? Still not feeling well, so she took a siesta, but felt blue missing out on the boys afternoon out!!

Tid bits from the tour? Max is wacko about keeping his bici clean. We got some sand on his llantas and the world would not be right until we washed that off.

Only 2 crashes while on the bici and I figured hitting the table would be the one that made him upset....ahhhh no. Oh Max!!

Fotos.

Max posing outside the Hotel Maxico.

Not the senora admiring the lil'man!!

Hauling butt!!

Some work to get up this set of stairs.

I know this look.

Usually followed by this next look of "Poppa, help".

More butt hauling!!

High tide. The water came up and over onto the sidewalk.

Spot the niño?

All of a sudden, someone wants to get off and walk the bici...for 1 minute. Huh?

Checking to see if Poppa was still back there.

Max spots a moto parked on the sidewalk.

Max spots an hombre get on the moto.

Max sees the hombre start up the moto.

Max sees the hombre start to drive off on the moto.

No next foto as Max came racing over to me...very scared and upset. A hug, kiss y agua and all was well.

We had no lock, or else we would have parked here.

We met these peeps that were under the palapa we had plopped next to. Friendly and curious about the lil'man. We were headed for a swim, but first Max wanted some boat time...with his amiga.

She liked to fill it up with sand, and Max was not happy about this.

She thought he was a neat freak.

Uh Señor, your hijo is a neat freak.

But they chatted it up.

And all ended well.

Post playa, we pit stopped into Los Portales so we could wet our whistles. Max helped pour Poppa's beer into his boca, while Max guzzled back some bubble water.

We have no secrets in this familia, and with the lil'man spilling them, there is no way to have them anyway. We get home and are greeted by madre and Max tells his madre that we were out for chelas and that he and Poppa were going to Vegas!! Oh Max!!

Bex y Max went out to grab some sopa for madre's dinner and Bubba got us set up para la cena and the PM rutinas.

Easy dinner...it was our chorizo y pollo meant for playa Mojon..doph!!

Max ate a huge dinner and seems to be feeling much better. A little more emotional then we remember, but energy levels are slowly returning, no yakking for 2 days, and he even had some leche today. Score!!

Clean up, tina time and bed time...and that is our day. Off to watch the PVR'd race...score!!

Misc

After reading THIS story from the Vancouver Sun, I am happy to report that there are no cartels here in Huatulco, and we have plenty of lime trees that Max and I can choose from!!!

There might be a lime shortage, but Mexico does have a zonkey!!!

Ok, have a great domingo y hasta mañana.

Marco, Bexico y Max
