I think the red hair is a give away? Any way, Max el Bandito, rides away on Tony Caballo.
Buenos windy tardes!! Wow...it's a blowing out there. Sunny and with the viento, not as hot as we have been experiencing....it only feels like 42,0 grados!! Ja ja ja
So...it is 245pm and with the familia off to a niño event, Bubba is on his 4th session of watching last night's race. Thank goodness for the PVR!!
The night? Wacky. We had a niño melt down at 1030pm. Huh? What was the issue? Max said his leg hurt and was very upset about it. Some cream and crying, followed by rocking and he was lights out again...until 1230am.
Same issue, sin tears, but this time he wanted to sleep on the bed. Hmmmm...time to make the executive decision and it was one made by a tired Poppa.
Onto the bed he went and we slept straight through until 605am. A win-lose situation. This morning, I asked Max about his sore leg, and he sheepishly pointed to his leg. I asked if it was all better and he said yes. Who knows what was wrong, and I am starting to believe it was a ploy to get out of the cuna. Oh Max!!
Usual AM rutinas and I am happy to report no yakking and the lil'man ate a huge desayunos.
Off for a bici tour and it was a good one. Lots of energy throughout most of the tour, and it was hot this morning. Lots of agua and one cool down in our favorite Oxxo!!
Home to wake up Bex, who had a great sleep and was feeling a-ok. Looks like all she needed was a good nights sleep and ta-da. (9pm update later in the blog update)
Books and leche and then off for the 90 minuto siesta...and I got in on that action. Hello!!
Post siesta, I watched some racing and the familia prepped the pollo for tonight's cena. Kudos to Bex for that...what a mess to have 2 extra chico manos involved with flour and raw egg!!
Time to turn off the race so the lil'man could watch some Tractor Tom with his comida, and then after assisting in getting him out the door (ok, I got him dressed...to help get him out the door!!), I settled in for the rest of the race...and you are caught up. 8 laps to go!!!
Onto the fotos.
Some pre-tour poses.
At a very busy intersection, Max waits at the rampa and checks for traffic.
Poppa...listo!!
Never lacking colorful backgrounds for here in Huatulco.
The Max Van snarl.
Ok, we did run low on energy, but the Oxxo pitstop and cool down worked wonders.
Max's OC comes out. He drops the bici and runs over to this gate, his favorite.
All that to ensure the gate was shut. Huh? Oh Max!!
Ok, felicidades to Joey Logano...a great end to the race!! Time to putter around, clean up and get ready for the 430pm familia swim. Score!!
I will finish this off tonight. Hasta pronto.
Buenos noches!!
Typical Huatulco event...Bex y Max arrived for the 230pm start time, and there was NO one there. Some note about a 430pm start, but even then, we saw a parade go by just before 6pm!!
So...the familia toured around town, including a pit stop at Pemex, where they had fun using the water hose to clean off Max's bici.
Home for familia swim and then onto dinner, clean up, tina time and bed time.
Happy to report that bedtime went well...long, but well. At 815pm, Max is asleep in his cuna, Bex is making chico pays, pies...and then is headed out to buy some meds. Max is feeling much better, a little tired this afternoon, but Bex is not better. Yikes. So, some meds and we will see what up. Stay tuned.
Me? Healthy'ish!! No colds etc, but I have some ailments caused by a 49 year old body. No need for diapers, mainly tight muscles and ligaments. The wrist I hurt at the water slides is almost better, but now the cyst I had in the same wrist, has returned. Of course it has.
Good news...the sore neck from horsing around with Max, that is almost all better!!
Ok, time to watch the News and then call it a day.
Hasta mañana.
Marco, Bexico y Max
