Oh yes, he does smile!!
But that is not how is starts out!! Ja ja ja
Buenos días!! Off to playa Mojon in a few hours, so with Max next to me taking his siesta, time to update the blog.
A good night...not great, but good. A few wake ups and then the lil'man slumbered, but was restless, from 5am-545am. Videos at 615am and then onto tranquilo time and a huge desayunos. We also cooked up the arroz para la cena, as well as made the garlic butter for the camarones.
Hola hola to madre and then off for a nice tour. We have had a few cooler nights, the last hurrah before it really gets warm, so it was a nice ride.
A "long bici ride" as Max would say, and then home for leche, book reading with madre and then onto siesta. And now...onto the fotos.
After getting Señor Serio down the stairs, he takes off on the bici. I have to call him back for a foto and after convincing him to show me Silly Max, here is what I get.
Using the BBQ, cook breakfast on the sidewalk, and then head off to the playa. Once there, drink lots of chelas and make sure everyone is wearing a life jacket when they go into del mar.
Hola hola to vacaciones!!
The "¿mas fotos?" look. Oh Poppa.
Basura...maleducado!!
We came upon this crowd and we said to ourselves..."gran oferta?", big sale? Or maybe a lynching?
But then we saw where they stopped, saw that they had palmas in their hands and realized it was Domingo de Ramos, Palm Sunday.
The hombre on the burro represents Cristo entering the city of Jerusalem. Why the burro? It is an animale of peace, vs a horse which was viewed as what a war waging King would ride. Who knew?
El Padre came out and said a few words.
Then blessed the crowd.
Max got his first blessing...and it did not sting...a good sign!! Ja ja ja Here he is wondering why his amigos gave him a palma.
Misc...might need to get it on video, but how many 2 year and 5 month old niños do you know that can sing the complete theme song to Gilligan's Island? And Now Max is working on learning THIS song. Stay tuned!!
Ok, time for some man-snugs!! Have a great domingo y hasta mañana.
Marco, Bexico y Max
