Buenos noches amigos!! Welcome to MY blog!!

Currently 820pm and as Bex works on some sound effects upstairs, the lil'man is probably working on his own...in his sleep. Oh Max!!

And how did bedtime go? Awesome. Bex had her 30 minutos and then I went in to close the show. Max and I sang the ABC song together, and after a few verses, I told Max I loved singing with him, and that his singing was awesome.

The next few verses, Max stops after the letter Z, and as I continue with the "now I know my ABC's...", Max whispers "awesome". Oh what a tonto niño!!

As for our day...usual rutina. Up at 545am, tranquilo time in the Palacio, huge desayunos, the Prowl and then home of leche y siesta.

Post siesta, I was off to el gimnasio and then home for the usual pre-cena rutina. Lots of fotos to look through, and then onto clean up and get ready for round 2 on the pollo reggiano.

Mean while, the familia had their comida rutina, Max y Bex cooking something on the stove...Max loves cooking!!

Then they took the camioneta verde off to playa Entrega for some beach time. Max was not into the oceano...the old "gotta do some business first" rutina!! No damage to either vehicle while Bex was parking the camioneta verde and Max was in the back yelling to get out of his cage. Oh Max!!

Home for some horsing around and then onto la cena...and yes, he ate it in his high chair...phew. Onto clean up, dance party, tina time, FT con Oma y Opa and then onto bedtime...and you are all caught up.

Onto the fotos!!

Pre-desayunos bed head pose.

From the counter in the cocina...hello!!

Rear view...check.

Front view...check.

Side view while pointing at a noisy volco (VW bug) next door...check.

Another side view?

If he looks into the camera...take the foto!!

This is the food side of the local mercado. Max squeeks up the aisle behind the chairs and next to the fridge, as all the peeps call out "hola Max".

Maxowaxo watching an hombre use a one llanta'd bici to sharpen knives.

Distracted by a senorita. Oh Max.

The commercial side of the mercado and Max has some cheeky grin going on!! Hee hee hee!!

Señor Coqueto, flirt, on the move. The senorita smiled at Max, but was camera shy.

Flashing the 2 pack!!

Hola hola and a besito for his amigos, las ranas.

From ayer, Max y madre at the far end of playa Chahue.

Find a rock, and Max will want to climb it.

Find a path, and Max will want to explore it.

Selfie.

Max making a new amiga.

From the walk to el gimnasio.

I see this senora everyday. She sets up her silla y mesa and sells her fresh cut fruta y verdura.

What ever you need, it will eventually come to you. Today it was watches and watch bands.

How your local handyman gets around town.

Better hurry. Last week there were 6 of these guitar coat racks for sale. Hoy, we are down to 4.

I have never seen a cart like this before. I think it is selling a beverage, limon juice/pop on ice, in a chili rimmed styrofoam cup. I cannot find the translation for the palabra "rusa", other then it means Russian.

Other then collecting mordidas, bribes, I do not know what these policia transito really do. I have never seen them stop and ticket peeps that drive motos without cascos, placas o peeps in carros not wearing their cinturons.

Let's see...tons of tortillas, Coca Cola and helados?

For Max, as he loves to point out the paloma nests that he sees. There is one like this, right when we enter the dirt road to playa Mojon, a signal for Max that we are almost there.

Book end fotos. Here is the other foto of Max...with the mysteriously darkened ojos.

Misc

I know all of you have been sitting on the edges of your sillas, just waiting and waiting. Well...wait no longer!!

During enero 2014, we had average lows of 23,5 grados vs 25,7 last year. Brrrrr. Our average highs were 30,5 grados vs the 31,7 from last year. It was a cooler month and just like last year, no lluvia.

What can we expect for febrero? No lluvia, some humido starts to creep in (like today) and last year we average lows of 25,5 and highs of 31,6. It will be hotter then last month!! Hola hola playa y alberca!!

Don't forget that mañana is Día de la Candelaria and on 5 de febrero, it is Día de la Constitución.

Interesting things read in today's El Sold De La Costa noticia, newspaper? February is the "Mes del  Amor" and you can "legaliza tu unión" for free!! Hola hola Bex...ja ja ja. The other item I saw was an article about the XXXV Audiencia Pública.

This is an annual event on Oaxaca, where regular peeps can come and meet the Governor and express their concerns. I read that over 8 hours, the Governor met with 379 peeps. Hmmm, who knew?

Hey...learning something new everyday. As Max was prowling an eye glass store, he stops to look at the fish in the tanque. I call it a pescado and then recall it is only one fish, so it is called a pez. Then the senorita working in the store tells me that one fish is a pez, multiple is peces and she told me that once a fish is caught and dead, it is called pescado.

Now, I do not know if that is true or not, as it seems many Mexicanos like to change the Spanish language to suit their needs. When we took our clases de español and then went out to practice, our amigos laughed because they said many of the palabras we spoke, were correct, but just never spoken. Huh? Who knew?

And to close the show, a few Max quotes. Early in the morning, he has been known to tell his madre "Poppa sleep, Momma sleep, Max NO sleep". And after a small bump from our camioneta verde into another car, with no damage (phew), Max has been known to say "no hit somebodies car". Oh Max!!

Ok, you are all caught up!! Mañana...hola hola to the Superbowl at 530pm!! Not sure what the plan is for during the day, but I am sure it will start with our usual rutina and hopefully a familia swim!!

Hasta mañana y Go Hawks!!

Marco, Bexico y Max
