Not sure why Max makes this face. When he is given a very full water bottle, I always tell to go slow, so he does not spill it...and this is the face you get.

So, let's get this straight. I have waited months, I have set the PVR, and we are on a rain delay for the Daytona 500? Argh. Oh well...time to update the blog and get ready for rib night!!

Buenos noches and felicidades to the Canadian Men's hockey team who won the gold medal!! Max and I were cooking desayunos while the game was on, and he hopped on my lap while we watched the last few minutes and the medal presentation.

How was the night? A great sleep and madre managed to get the lil'man back to sleep at 5am...another Niño Whisperer?

So we had the 6am wake up and I took over at 645am. Usual rutina for us, including desayunos and then a long walk, as Max would say.

Wow...it is getting hotter out there and it is only febrero. Lots of agua on the prowl, and after some bici riding (his) with Max, Bex came back upstairs to change into some much lighter clothing. Phew!!

Post prowl, we were home for leche y siesta. Post nap it was time for comida, Max y momma cooking up the last of the camerones!!

Clean up and then out the door for bici riding and then onto madre's bici headed to playa Santa Cruz, where they will stay cool in del mar!!

So...rain delayed...onto the fotos!! Ready?

On your marks, get set....go!!

Hola hola to the twins...a motley crew of niños eh?

When it is this hot out, pit stops are a must.

I am not sure who was more excited...the cachorros to see Max, or Max to see the puppies.

Time to leave, and always give and get besitos!!

Flores salesman.

Having left his Cheerio on the banco, it was time to head home.

Ok, time to get the casa ready for the PM rutina, and myself cleaned up for rib domingo!! I will finish this off esta noche.

Hasta pronto.

Buenos noches!! Currently 740pm, and after a 6 plus hour delay, the race is about to restart. Wow. And what happened since it was red flagged?

I cleaned up the casa and got us ready for tonight, had a shave and then puttered until the familia came home from playa Santa Cruz.

How was their afternoon? A great time at the playa, until the throngs of Mexicanos from DF wouldn't leave them alone!! It was ok for the first 45 minutes of questions, gawking, and just being in awe of the lil'man swimming.

But after 45 minutos of explaining all about Max, why we live here and what Canada is like (no...it is NOT the USA), it was time for some tranquilo time!! Nice that they were friendly peeps and were so curious.

Then it was home for leche y clean up and off we went to Tangolunda for our ribs. What to say about dinner? Not much, other then we will not go back. It wasn't horrible, but it was tourist prices and the quality was less then awesome.

Oh well, we will try somewhere else...or stick to Bubba's cooking!! Ja ja ja

Home for tina time and round one of bedtime is almost up...time to call in The Whisperer!!

You are all caught up!! Have a great lunes y hasta mañana.

Marco, Bexico y Max
