715am bed head!! No, he did not wake up at 715am...this is what his hair looks like 2 hours after he woke up...at 515am. Doph!!

Buenos tardes!! Currently 4pm and as the thunder booms outside, I have decided to start tonight's update. No gym today, cerrado due to the holiday, and the familia is out at the playa (more on that later), so a perfect time to sit back, sip a Crown and type away.

Our día? At 630am Bubba was woken up by terremoto Max, and I took over from madre at 7am.

The boys had a long prowl as due to the early wake up, familia swim was out. We took a different ruta and Max enjoyed seeing all the different sites.

Home for desayunos after almost 2 hours of prowling, and all Max had on his brain was pan frances. Doph. I managed to get Max to eat most of his fruta and after hearing "pan frances" more then 20 times...the boys started cooking.

As mentioned in a previous post, cooking now takes twice as long as the word "see" comes into play for every step.

But when it was all said and done, the boys enjoyed their "dip dipping" and after some huevos and yogurt, it was Party Palace tranquilo time.

After tranquilo time led into aggressive time, off to the bedroom for leche y siesta. As usual, Max was tired but was not going to go down easy. But after much experience at this, Bex had Max lights out in due time.

Poppa joined in for some shut eye and some man snugs. Score!!

Post siesta it was comida time and then we all headed out to playa Santa Cruz. Poppa to talk to the peeps at the restaurante and double check some deets for mañana, and the familia to have some super fun playa time.

Questions answered, time to admire the familia swimming and having fun...and taking some fotos too.

Off to Che...we were out of huevos and then home to chillax...and you are all caught up.

Whoa....HUGE lightning and thunder!!

Time to get the casa ready for the post playa time y la cena. I will finish this esta noche, tonight.

Buenos noches. Well that was exciting!! Moments after Bex y Max started climbing the stairs to the condo, the real thunder, lightning and rain show started. It was a good drenching and with the viento, time to close the windows.

Perfect time for lluvia as at 715pm, it is already 28,0 grados!!

We had some spare time before la cena, so while madre cleaned up, the boys did some reading.

Day 2 of the pollo, but I had scored on some good pestos at Che, so it spiced up the reggianos!! Not sure how come we were finished so fast, but now a days Max is less inclined to want to sit in his high chair while we clean up post-cena.

All we have been hearing is "palace, palace, palace" so today we switched it up and after dinner, he hung out in the palace with Poppa, while Bex cleaned up the cocina.

When it was time for tina, I cleaned up the sala and the two of them headed to the tina and had the FT con Oma y Opa.

It worked out well and we are on track with round one of bedtime already half over. Stay tuned.

Onto the fotos.

Ready for the prowl...Max is just deciding what we will do.

I think the lil'man is listo.

But first...sticking close to Poppa as there is a car leaving the parking lot...muy peligro says Max.

The sun rising on the tienda de fruta across the calle from CP.

All the leaders of the town have gotten together for a pow wow. Max brought the snacks.

I am not sure if I am waiting for Max to finish reading, or if he is waiting for me to finish taking fotos. He does not seem to disturbed by the waiting.

Not in his usual spot, but Max found el gato anyway. Here we are practicing saying "ear".

And "whisker".

Some inspection of the flores.

Overcast afternoon at the playa, I have a tiny camera with a so-so lense...bear with me.

Max LOVES the oceano and moments after arriving, he has already run in...and out.

And then back in, while pointing at a boat in the distance.

No more flotadores for the lil'swimmer.

But the swimming stops when Max, the hombre that sells nieves, arrives. I am not at the playa often with Max y madre, but I am told that Max takes his $10 pesos, goes up to Max and hands him the money and Max will scoop the lime nieve into a cup for Max and send him on his way.

I confirmed with big Max that lil'Max said gracias, he had, and then lil'Max is off to share with his madre.

Ok, you are all caught up.

Big day mañana!! While the boys are having their siesta, Bex y Griselda are going to grab the postres and donas and then head down to the restaurante to decorate the palapa.

Post siesta, Max and I will eat some comida and then make our way down to the fiesta...the grand entrance and all!! ja ja ja

We are expecting 50'ish peeps...an eclectic group and a great time to practice our español as many of them speak no ingles.

Fingers crossed we are all set with the restaurante and that 50 peeps don't start ordering off the menu, thinking we are picking up the tab....doph. Beers, waters (flavored), pops, snack and postres...I think that is a good fiesta.

Proximo año...piñata!!

Have a great domingo. Don't forget to move your clocks back tonight and don't forget the race is on at 2pm Huatulco time!!

Hasta mañana.

Marco, Bexico y Max
